Drogba in 2010 TIME 100

This took me a bit by surprise. I was looking at TIME magazine's 100 most influential people of 2010, and Drogba's name was on the list.

I guess I never knew much about his off-the-pitch life; he's done a lot for Cote d'Ivoire as a nation.

Shame he can't bring being a reasonable, honest, up standing person to the football pitch.

He's brilliant to watch though when he actually wants to play football. Which is sadly not most of the time.

Have you watched him play recently? He still does that ****, but he's not the same player who kept diving at every opportunity, he barely does it anymore.

It's a shame that he'll never live down his diving image now.

He did donate his fee from endorsing Pepsi to build a hospital in Africa which isn't exactly a small sum.

Love him as a player, even more as a person. But he still doesn't belong on this list.
