Downloads for PS2

Im afraid i am computer illiterate, and im pretty sure i know the answer to this but i will ask anyway.

Can you download any patches for the PS2 version of FIFA 2005 and if so, how?

And please dont slag me off for playing on PS2, i realise its better on PC but i cant play my brother who is half way round the world on anything but PS2.

YES it is possible to patch and edit the PS2 version, you will need a modchip, hdloader, swap magic or some form of a way to boot backups, THIS WILL NOT LET YOU PLAY ONLINE THOUGH. you will only be able to play offline, you can patch that also but Im not going to get into that for the sake of it being illegal, although since you dont really understand computers very well then this post will render useless yo you. This takes time and high PC and PS2 file format skills. Anyways dont worry the console versions of FIFA 05 beat the PC version into the ground, the PC version does not have the percision controls of the console versions, especially the PS2 version.

Yes I have done it. It is not that hard. What is it that you want done and I will guide you through that if I can. Hell I used the Creation Center 2005 for the editing. This method requires that you have the PC version as well. Just put the identical files from the ps2 version in your PC versions folders and edit away.

Sorry console..........it is just the hardest to program for. If people really knew, the PS2 is more advanced than a top end computer, let alone its competition in the console market. Put it this way, Nvidia and ATI just now release 16 pipeline GFX cards, that PS2 built in 2000 has a 16 pipeline GPU. Do research before you call a system sorry. The dreamcast was sorry, the gamecude is sorry, the xbox and ps2 are beasts, the xbox is just very easy to program since it is 90% computer. The PS2 is just a pain in the arse to code....result is games that could look and run better.

Then why are the graphics so bad? it also takes forever to load. I think its easire to tweak a high end PC than to do all that.

My Peruvian friends told me that in Peru a pirated version of Fifa comes with the Peruvian league, Peruvian commentarors and other Peruvian stuff. All for the PS2.

The problems is that they are Peruvians so they might be taking sh!t.

There is a pirated version of PES 4 and WE 6,7 and 8 here in Peru ... with Peruvian league, peruvian commentators, music, stadiums, menus, adboards and all that ...

And whats ur problem bout peruvians ... im not talkin shít bro .... u are doing it

not true, I am running a directx 9.0 ATI radeon 9500 Pro overclocked past the 9700 speeds and even my PS2 version looks better. sports games never look as good on PC, they are simple ports.

You should here them talk. I got a AC MIlan 03-04 shirt from Gimako and they went on about how in Peru I would of gotten a better quality shirt for 10 soles and they went on and on. Why would anybody sell such a high quality shirt for 10 soles.

Don'y let them start about how Peru tought all latin american countries h ow to play futbol.
