Hey Giggi this is a small thing but I recall before that when playing tournaments you were able to alocate the stadium to each match. For example First game of Italy 1990 Argentina v Cameroon would be played at the San Siro etc. Is that possible?

Unfortunately not. Stadiums can only be set for direct elimination matches. In the group phase the game randomly draws from those you set for it.

It's actually possible with the settings.txt in the dlc folder... you just need to add a line that makes the stadium eligible for said group (I did it and it made the San Siro appear as one of the possible stadiums that could appear when playing group b). Of course, you need to go in and out of the tournament until it lands in the stadium you want.

that's what I said. it's random. You can't set it directly. Currently the stadiums actually used are set in the groups. But the game doesn't give you the guarantee of playing in the exact stadium used for that match. It goes to load randomly between those two or three four used stadiums.

Yeah, but in this particular case, if I remember correctly, san Siro is not in the rotation for group b (that's why I believed he asked). As a matter of fact, I don't think there are any inaugural stadiums assigned for 1982, 1986, 1990, etc (when I say inaugural stadiums, I refer to the first match of a wc that was not played in an assigned stadium. Ex: Argentina playing in Camp Nou in 1982 and in San Siro in 1990 to start the tournament)

Of course, it's just a minor detail that can be solved by doing those steps (that was the main point of the explanation)

It was deliberately not included because otherwise it would happen to see other matches at San Siro and not in Bari or Naples.
