Well this was done from scratch which was a must of my request. Since original Henry face by EA simply didn't satisfy my needs of making him look like his prime years. Neither mesh nor texture. Everything you see here is done by hand and has very high quality (even 3D hair despite being very short).

I had made sure that I worked with the best person for this purpose. That maker's faces are not joking around. They are very high in quality and much better than EA's. Easily the best candidate to be used in this patch.

That's not the point. Even God who came down to earth could have done it. It's made for another game with totally different light and shadow dynamics. I have several faces from recent FIFA and all of them have had a strong touch up to the texture because they don't render ingame. I have all the Icons, the heroes. We have the best Rumenigge possible made for FIFA 22 or FIFA 23 made by gabrifacemaker (one of the best ever). I had to ask him for permission to edit his work because it didn't work on FIFA 14. It's not a question of the hand of the creator... it's a question of different balance of texture tones. I often see very dark faces created for FIFA 16 (the game play with exaggerated light) on 14 they are black. You need to touch up the texture and lighten it. That's the point. You see him on FIFA 23 and you see a great face. But this is FIFA 14, another game... 10 years... In gaming terms it's prehistory. I myself see the faces I make on FIFA 16 and I see that they don't work. I don't like my faces on FIFA 16. Yet only two years passed between one game and the next. That's the point. Strapospheric faces on modern FIFA don't work on old FIFA.

this is Cole's default texture from FIFA 23... It's practically orange... On FIFA 14 it's almost orange.

In FIFA 16, EA change their entire scanning technology. Since then, models look very different compared to FIFA 14 or 15, because they are made differently. Furthermore since FIFA 17 we have a Frostbite engine which can get the best out of the model even as old as Fabiański remembering FIFA 11.
Honestly I don't see the problem myself, but I can see why someone like Gigi would see.

It must be considered that the new Fifas have had a sort of "flattening" of the texture. FIfa 14 has, in certain faces, a detail in the textures that EA no longer uses because the graphics engine has changed. There is a clear example of the texture of many old FIFAs being better than the current ones. Cannavaro, Sol Campbell and Van Der Sar e aggiungo Grygera (FIFA 13)

I tried creating a new profile and had no problems. Except that after 10 years I don't remember where the graphics details were set and I tested graphics at a similar level to FIFA 98 XD

Just to let you know that version 4.3 has been uploaded to mediafire and delivered to ACICOG for publication (he takes care of the site). It will arrive in a few days.

In the meantime I already have to think about 5.0. I have already eliminated all the Italian 5-year teams from the 90s both from the database and from any graphic reference. From logos to jerseys to the specific faces of the players assigned to that team. Recovering a nice loot of IDs that I will use in the future. Tonight I will examine the others to be eliminated from the 1990s. Obsolete teams with total coverage in individual seasons will disappear. Real Madrid, Barcelona, Bayer Munchen, Arsenal and Manchester United for example.

That face is more of his late barca face to me. Just much better than both EA's and PES 17 one (he looked 65 years old in that one)
