Does anyone have any idea how to disable substitutions for the CPU? I like to play with old teams and, pre-1954, substitutions were not really a thing which kind of ruins the immersion of old football having the CPU deciding to make a substitution when they don't exist.

I've been trying to understand that for 10 years and also how to block formations to avoid a reckless tournover

If you really really don't want subs, add 7 random goalkeepers to the bench (they can be of very low rating as well, so that CPU doesn't put them in starting XI in tournament mode).

can i know the secret on how do you create a league so fast?
you make like 1 serie A per day
how do you make everything in so little time? i believe you also go to work and have other duties so you probably make the whole league in 2-3 hours or something

I travel through time! Jokes aside. These are teams made up of 90-95% of players already in the database. After 10 years of work and many Serie A creations, an incredible pool of players is formed. Often I just have to add 4-5 players per team that you don't know about because they either only played 1 game in Serie A or not even that one (young players who have been on the bench or third goalkeepers). To make 4 teams it takes me less than two hours. Two hours in the evening, two hours in the night, two hours in the morning or two when it happens and made a league quickly. Then there's the question of jerseys. I already had something when I made teams 5 years many years ago. Then you will have noticed that many stitches repeat themselves. Napoli, Lazio, Torino, Fiorentina, Bologna, Verona and Roma in the end always have the same shirts. This makes the job faster.
