two drafts of balloons. They struck me for their particularity. They were used in the early 90's in the Italian championship by Atalanta and Torino. Unfortunately, the few photos found (all ingame photos) do not allow me to go into detail and understand what was written or drawn in certain sectors.

Derbystar Deko (Atalanta 1990-91 / 1991-92 / 1992-93) persolized

ABM Pro Cup (Torino 1990-91 / 1991-92 / 1992-93)

Man, those details like small letters are not so important as you can't really see them while playing Fifa.
So don't lose energy and time on minor details.
Hope tomorrow i will send you some kits.

@shoneroma90 @Spinadragon here are the celta 96 kits, if someone would only help to make a pes 21 kit converter I think it would make spare hundred of hours of work for making kits, almost all kits post 90 and post 2000 are made in pes format, a quick converter from pes 20-21 to fifa 14/16 format would simplify days, hours and month of kit making but as for many things, no one seems to understand this, I spoke about this for months and months without interest

yes, I know this but again it's taking time, copy/paste/resize etc
while a small tool like @tokke001 converters would help a lot.

I don't know if you remind of it, but there was a "kitmaster" for fifa 07, allowing to convert directly textures from fifa 05 and 06 to fifa 07 template in one click.

More than this, someone (I think @Dmitryj made it for converting PES 21 kit texture to fifa 10 kit texture...why not for fifa 14/16 while it's easy even more similar template?

I don't understand why not

it's the detail that makes this job fun :D . Without detail, there is no flavor. Everything I create has the double function of being able to serve me in the future for other extra fifa projects. Years ago I had in mind to compile some books with graphically curated Serie A seasonal reports. So balls, logos, jerseys, sponsors could serve me for this hypothetical job. Everything also serves for other works. :)

I totaly understand you (I'm a graphic designer, more like printing designer, so somethimes things must be worked until tiny details and correct measures, and it's different if you don't like what you are doing) so i know the struggle for details especially if there is lack of resources, that can be painfull and you know that pain too hahaha.
That's why i don't put much focus on small details with something i do for fun, but that's why your Patch is so g*d d*m good :)

@valambrosio2 It's not that simple too make such an converter, i think you need to work with 3d models and textures, and not a lot of people will make such a thing for free. I'm also working a little for my preferences with 3d's but i'm still a begineer in that field. So we can only wait and hope, or learn ourselves :)

when I do not find large parts of footballs, or the back of a shirt and as if I am missing an arm. :D

I do graphics for pleasure. I also created a cover for a book sold in Switzerland about Queen about 10 years ago. I'm proud of it because not only is my name on it but a copy was brought to Freddie Mercury's house in Logan Place, London. Then I don't know if they threw it in the garbage away after 5 seconds but at least something made by me and my name was at the home of Freddie Mercury, my absolute myth!

Amazing man!
Did you get one copy of the book? Or printed cover at least :) Do you still have that cover design?

P.S. We will turn this tread into conversation if we continue, but it's still better than "why don't you make this team" or "when will you release".

I almost forgot and started making kits in Fifa 21 template, but i will easily convert to 14 Template.
So, a question (easy one): does Fifa 14 support sizes 2048x2048, or i need to resize to 1024x1024?

Yes, it supports 2k, just weighs more

I have my own copy sent to me by the writer. I have to look for it, it is among books and DVD

Conversations are always welcome. Getting to know people is important. In the end we are not just files but we are people with other passions, tastes. it's nice to compare and get to know each other. Less requests. Now I take advantage of giving a whip to that kind of user. Many don't read the messages, they just look at the photos. I have been explaining for years what I intend to do in those 6 months and what I could do in the next 6 months and nothing, they don't understand. I have been saying for years that I cannot accept requests for various reasons. Both for the amount of work that never ends, and for the limitations of the database that we do not know. I prefer to add teams that I consider interesting for me and for what I want to do than random teams that I could do without. In case of limits, those teams would be the first to be canceled. But in the meantime one has wasted time building kits and databases.

2048 is fine. Then it's me resizing to 1024 to not load the game much. But on the CP16 many kits are in 2048. So I can switch the original model to ACICOG in 2048 and he converts keeping the high quality.

Well, I'd like to take a look on that book too :)

BTW, @andreatomasoni last seen 4 years ago. Is he still alive?

I'm looking for it. XD

Tomasoni is in constant contact with us on ********, we have our group. It is he who yesterday sent me the photos for the Atalanta and Torino balls. Yesterday we were doing research to understand the balls of the Serie A teams from 1989-90 to 1993-94 for each single team.

Good thing is you remembered about the book you did. Now you will search for it i beleive, maybe even take a picture of cover so we can all see it. :)

Some things will never change, but i understand them too, most of them are kids, some will learn some will stay lazy. I remember when i was starting downloading mods, didn't have internet at the time so i only downloaded as much as i can (kits mostly and some minor patches) from the neighbour and a cousin. But since i never found some teams i started learning eventually started making kits in Paint (it was a Pain without T, PS was a "spanish village" for me, didn't even had PC to run it ahahah).
I'm sad i lost all those first kits made in Paint, i worked for days on one kit only, saving file after every 3 clicks with mouse. After some time i decided to learn PS (without tutorials, just "playing" and exploring).

So i can be only gratefull to Soccer Gaming and Fifa because i learned a lot of here.
Now it's a lot easier to learn anything, if you have desire for it of course. A little part of my biography hahah.

Back to Fifa graphics.
You can always "Save for Web" PNG rather than "Save as" PNG, because you will not lose much of a quality, but look at the differences in weight sizes:

Some tips to try.

the book is here somewhere .. 10 maybe even 13 years have passed. Black cover. Most DVDs and books have the same color, it gets lost in the chaos XD

True. When I started I also tried to build everything with my hands. I saw the kits of the greatest of the time and I thought they worked for EA. To me it was astounding that some guys from their room did better than EA. Then over time I realized that it takes a little to starve better than EA, just commit XD I approached complex kits with this patch. Before, I only made faces and elementary kits. I will however, thanks to editing, however, you learn to master programs that otherwise you would not understand immediately. I made my first shirts with MGI Photosuite. A kind of paint, zero levels, zero curved lines, all by hand ... all shit XD

I noticed that the CM crashes with the PNGs saved directly from photoshop. A question of bit depth. On the CM he wants pngs with 32 bit depth. the latest version of photoshop saves them at 16bit. But I noticed that if I use "quick export as PNG" it saves it in 32bit. in fact, every time they pass me files I re-export them with that system and I go quiet.

There he is. It has his years of him. This is the English version of a book written by two fans who attended an old Italian forum about Queen. I was quite active on that forum, creating bootleg CD and DVD covers. They asked me if I was interested in creating a cover for a book and I accepted, a bit 'fooling around. The book was sold in Switzerland, in Montreaux where the annual Queen fan gathering is located. I do not think it is still on the market and I think it has been printed in a few copies. But, as I said before, it matters to me in that whoever translated the book was able to deliver the book to Freddie Mercury's home in London. As a Queen fan for me it's a huge thing! Looking back at it now, after about 10-15 years, I don't remember the exact year, I realize that now I would be able to do much better. Here I was still a novice with graphics. But they liked the idea and here it is ...

Nice looking cover, CLASSIC. It's really in Queen style, like something they would choose. Simple, but have dark side to it and "glowing" Merrcury in focus but in shadow.

You did two good things today, found that book and moved you ass of your chair, just for keeping the blood flowing so you can sit again and work on your classic balls (uuuups).
And third most important emotional aspect, so you can be more motivated because show must go on. :)

Try and make new design for the book when you have time or will, just to see how it will be.
