Because there are trophies and cups involved (Mitropa Cup 1925-30) and then there are too many teams. In the 40s (due to World War II) there are few teams that could all be included in a league and there were no tournaments and I had to invent one. 1915-20 I haven't looked at anything yet. That section may not even exist at all.

The same Espanyol was 14th in La Liga in 1999-2000 season...
Sevilla in 1991-1992 season was 12th.
Only Real Sociedad was 2nd in 2002-03 La Liga

Yes but that Espanyol have won Spanish Cup on 1999/00, and Real Sociedad was 2nd on 2002/03
Only Sevilla hasn't won anything but it had a good team with Suker, Maradona, Simeone.. and that Sevilla was 7nd it is 1992-93 Sevilla

Legend: champion, cup winner, wild card (via the championship), easy/so-so/hard to find info (it's for my trying)

Many are at the limit and already present in 1920-25
WBA, inter, Nurnberg for example. Inter lost its captain (Virgilio Fossati in 1916). A lot of teams lost a lot of athletes during WWI. Italians 1915-20 I will not insert any. Only one cup was played in 1916 (Coppa Federale) to replace the championship. the other seasons only friendlies and tournaments limited to certain areas. Other nations present in the 1920s will not include them or they will be enormously downsized. I think France and Belgium can start from 20 and not go backwards. But this is a job that I will be doing in about a year. There will be time.
