Hi, Dont u people ever get tired of being Premiership teams? Why not have a challenge for once and be a team in the 2nd,3rd or even Conference Divisions. How can being Manchester United be a challenge? You already have enough good players to win the league and loads of money, all u have to do is find a good tactic and u have won the league! But if u were a lower division club theres alot more things to do before u start winning games. This may not apply to u reading this but i know theres a damn lot of peple in this forum who always play as Manchester United or Arsenal.

On CM3 I played as a big side for a few seasons to get ready (PSG) then in the same game, resigned, and took over Northampton Town. I had so much fun, ended up taking the Cobblers to the Prem before CM4 came out. I am playing as West Ham ATM cos they're my team and thus I wanna win everything with them before I find other challenges.

Yea, I only manage lower league teams. Dun see much challenge in using premier league teams. Right now using Wolves and just joined Potters Bar Town newly promoted from non-league to Conference but weird their transfer budget is 4 million

lol, even computer managers get them promoted. Sorry, but that's not that good an achievement. :p
Actually I think QPR are supposed to be equally strong as Ipswich Town in the game. They are 15 points clear of number two in my Rushden game, after 25-30 matches.

Well I was born in Northamptonshire live in Northampton and have supported Northampton Town for 5 years (I'm only 12) So i always play as Northampton Town since my first Championship manager game (97/98)In Every game i have got them to the Premiership, i am currently in the first division after 2 seasons now.

The people that support Diamonds in Northamptonshire are all glory supporters, Rushden & Diamonds were only established 10 years ago! Whereas Northampton were established back in 1897. The only reason Rushden & Diamonds are where they are today is because they have a rich chairman and are made from two teams, Irthlingborough Diamonds and Rushden Town, next season Diamonds will be struggerling for the first time in their life then we will see what :drevil: Real Fans :drevil: they have. And if anyone here is a Diamond fan tell me who u supported before 1990? Let me guess...Manchester United:crazyboy:

In all the manager games i always start with arsenal then go to some small team. Because you need to get used to the game. Also i was wondering how do you get a job at a big club or national side is it done by youre manager points or youre stats

I start with West Ham. I just started a game with Man U. Dunno why. Boredom I suppose.

I've been given 23m to spend. I am going on a youth hunt.

Freddy Adu - Free
Anton Ferdinand - Free - Snapped cruciate knee ligs in debut :f***:
Glen Johnson, 3m, see, I'm milking West Ham :D
Rooney - 3m - Building a team for the future, he's top of my list
James Milner - Be decent hopefully, not bad for 300k
Spector - Already at United, he should be class
Richardson, yep, Man U stole him from West Ham. Looks promising

I've been considering others like Dawson and Routledge. I may pop a bid in for Jenas too, he may be a bit too old though.

I am not a glory hunter; I have never even been to Northants, much less England. I saw Diamonds on TV when they were in the conference in 1997 when they took on Leeds United. I was not a Man Utd supporter at the time either, I liked Liverpool. Quickly, though, Liverpool became boring (why? a poor run of results, I can only assume) and I found myself checking the Rushden scores before the Reds score.

The big difference between Rushden and Northants is that Rushden has a future while Northants has a past. I respect you for supporting the worst team in Division Two but next year we won't be. And another thing: Rushden did not have a lot of money to bring in many new players a while ago, even though now they have sold some players they picked up Dean Holdsworth.
