yeah........
Geocities and Angelfire both suck.........
But there is a site called www.freewebz.com ...........
U can try to go there........
Spacetowns.com is also good

Actually, I have found www.tripod.com to be very good, 50 MB and very reliable, the only thing is they put that ugly pop-up on your site, but you can just use a banner-killer script to make it go away.

Thanks for the info.....
I just wanna know cause I wanna see the difference between using Frontpage and Dreamweaver......
But now, I think I'll stick more with Dreamweaver-of-course

;) :)

I'd stay away from Frontpage all together! It writes really bad HTML and adds in all kinds of bizarre tags that are totally not compatible with Netscape, and not even compatible with most versions of I.E., even though IE is made by Microsh!te too! :kader:

Best Web Editors, in my opinion are:

1. Macromedia Dreamweaver 4/MX
2. Namo Web Editor 5
3. Adobe GoLive

very good choices :)

I first learned to design a website on notepad, but I'll take a program like Dreamweaver or Namo over coding by hand anyday. It's just so much faster and efficient, and no proffesional web designers use notepad. It's just too slow, and in a business enviornment...time is money.

I use Allaire Homesite. It's like a tag-based editor. Can someone tell me how it compares with other programes (ie Dreamweaver and all the others that you were talking about).

Well, I've never used Homesite myself so I can't make comparisons, but if I had to recomend any web editor to someone it would definately be Dreamweaver. Dreamweaver is also a good one to know since it's the program most used by pro web designers, so it'll be easier for you to find resources and add-ons for it.
