Yes, this is correct, and yes I've got the EoDM album, there sound is pretty mild. No where near as hard as Kyuss or QotSA, but a nice listen nonethess. (H)

Well, Kyuss explored a more melodic style during their last 2 albums I'd say, but they kicked ass on all 4, and "Muchas Gracias" is sweet too (H)

I read an interview in Kerrang with EoDM, and it was hilarious :D

Especially the part where they explain why that Jesse guy is called "The Devil".......they're a bunch of wackos I tell you (H)

Linkin Park songs, or any songs for that matter will sound the same if you smoke crack.

I've always thought In The End and Breaking the Habit sounded exactly the same...

If you're commenting on the first two albums, then yes...the 2nd album is a remix of the first albums songs... you must be a bloody genius to figure that out!

I think Linkin Park has some good songs though some songs do sound sorta the same. Though 2 songs I like that don't are Numb and In the End...

Linkin Park - Some intro by the Jap guy, then guitars come. Then they come out with some rap and some singing by Chester, then Chorus, repeat, then there's the part where he screams like mad, then chorus, guitars again, then the Jap comes out with the same thing he did at the intro, end.

They just follow the same script, in about 80% of their songs.

Umm....me3, what "position" are Linkin Park in exactly? The pretending to be really angry whilst getting paid millions of dollars and laughing at all the stupid teens that buy their shyte albums?

Sounds like a pretty good "position" to me. :p

I can only hear 2 songs their merged together, and IMO they sound nothing alike.

I bet you could find 2 Beatles/Led Zeppelin/Black Sabbath/whatever songs that sound quite similar and mix them in the same way, but it'd make a lot of know-it-all-pricks go apesh!t.

I know, but the difference is that Linkin Park does it in almost all songs and the others do it on 2 or 3. Plus Linkin Park are a commercial band, and the other bands that do the same stuff arent (some are, but i guess you get my point).
