Do You Know why Stuff is taken out with each new FIFA?

I just got the PC Version and it sucks donkeyballs. No Save Replay, No Graphic optiosn about from resolution, YOU CANNOT CONFIGURE THE DAMN GAMEPAD, what a disgrace. The game is dark as **** plus the framerates are crap.

WHy do they take out features in each siccessive FIFA release? Cuz if they released a perfect versiom, noone would buy the next year release. It is that simple and it is part of their marketing. Imagine if every feautre you dreamed of was in the game. You would never buy the next version cuz the current one would satisfy you. Plus they know you can update rosters yourself, even if they do not add that option (at leats on the PC version).

You guys need to stop buying this ****. In this world, MONEY TALKS. EA could give less than two ****s if you like the game or not, only if you BUY IT OR NOT. DO NOT BUY THIS PIECE OF ****. Let your money speak. If PES 3 come sout for PC, BUY IT instead of FIFA 2004. Let EA lose the sale and they will reeavluate and rethink their strategy of releasing half ass games with incomplete features.

As long as you keep on buying this **** each year hoping they will fix this or that, they will continue to release garbage. I mean between FIFA 2003 and 2004 the only thing they added was the Ingame Strategy Manager which was a feature FIFA 99 had!!

I guess if it makes you feel better about stealing to complain that the game isn't worthy of your money, then oh well.

yeh i agree with you totally. the game is average and cannot be seen as a 'football simulation' becos its not realistic. i have it on PS2, these are the main problems i have found with the game:
- CPU AI attacking thru the middle every time
- goalkeepers standing in the wrong positions, letting long rangers lfy past them into the middle of the net
- no dynamic weather
- impossible to dribble past defenders
- commentary same as last yr
- player attributes do not affect the game at all, henry is as quick as slow defenders for example
- too easy to score from corners
- OTB so hard to execute
- no international tournaments
- no champions league, no uefa cup
- no custom cups
- no creation center
- player swaps, instead of player transferes (eg if you want to move sumone from QPR to arsenal, you have to send an arsenal player the other way!!!!!)

i could go on and on and on and on, but i wont becos im bored.

the game is as mediocre as spurs, dont buy it, its worthy of a rent, but no more

I have the full retail version. I can post pictures of my CD Case if you wish. Please do not accuse me of pirating. I have however unistalled the game and smashed my CDs. I still have the original box and cd case though. But my CDs are in the trash because the game is just that aggravating. You guys want to live in the illusion that jus tbecause the American version is not out means they will still add all these features. Or better yet they will PATCH THE GAME LATER ON. LMAO, what is the last patch EA Sports released for any of their pc games? It must have been in 1995.

Face reality, this verison of FIFA is the WORST EVER! It is incomplete and it is trash.

And min dyou I have the Xbox version also. They are exactly the same. The COnsole versions lack all the features that the PC version does. The PC is no better. Open you eyes and face the reality. There is no save replay in PC or console version. Ther eis no multiplayer tournament. The AI is **** in both and scores the same goals in a loop. Quit dreaming that the PC version will be an improvement because it IS NOT!

I have never had a game aggravte me to the point of breaking the CD. I was totally disgusted. Since 97 I have bought FIFA and seen them literally rob me of 40-50 dollars each year and adding 2 features and taking out 5. Ingame Team management? Give me a break, that feature was there in FIFA 99,, they took it out for four years then bring it back, YAY! But then they take out configuring your keys/gamepad and adjusting brightness. Off Ball Control, wow! But no One two passing and players always turn to face opponents goal when they want to pass, during that animation sequence you get the ball stolen! No weather effects, there was rain in FIFA 1999-2001 but no weather in 2004, wow, what happened, not enough time to code it? The game has had the same AI since 2001, how the **** do you take **** like this out of the game, it's not like they are building a whole new game each year, they have had the same graphics engine since 2001 with minor improvements, The crap goes on and on.....

YUP, you are too right. i didnt think pro evo was as good as fifa until this year, but PES 3 puts fifa 04 to absolute shame. EA shud be very dissapointed with the game theyve relased, but im sure theyre not, becos suckers like us keep buying it. Unless the gameplay is actually sorted, eg CPU AI more random, i will not buy it next year. Buy PES 3, im not a PES fan, but its better

Hey by the way there is CPL and UEFA u just have to play them in career mode... the AI is ****! i agree wit dat.... and i love the free style but y the *** carnt u run while doin good moves ..... the game is overall sh*t

Your theory is a load of ****in bull****. The reason the games have features taken out is because EA are pretty lousy developers and/or spend too much time working on their new gimmick and forget to put the rest of the stuff in.
You don't need to start a thread describing how crap fifa is. We already know it's relatively crap in comparison to other footy games out at the moment *nudge nudge, wink wink*.

if you get it for PC there will be a Creation Center. You should be able to edit alot of things in the game with it
