My mom's cousin played for Mexico in the 1986 World cup and played for 1st division club UNAM.
My aunt used to date current Mexican 1st division star Braulio Luna's brother, so when she visited him i used to go and i met him. But she broke up with him.

Former All Black prop Craig Dowd was a few years ahead of me at school (I knew his sister quite well), whilst current New Zealand Warriors captain Monty Beetham was a year behind. Former warriors player Anthony Swann was one of my best mates at primary school.

Well the entire Essendon squad goes there, some reason, not sure. I chat with them if they are there.Mark De Vries (Hearts striker) lives a couple of streets away, and since I was one of the first people to speak to him when he arrived (he was a relative unknown when he signed) he helped adjust to the lifestyle here. He's even been here in my house sharing a tuna pizza with me! He is one of the funniest people ever, always talking about weed, hookers and such other things the Dutch are famous for 
Also, a mate of a mate was Darren Fletcher (Man Utd)'s next door neighbour, and in the pre man utd days we used to play on the same 5 a side team, us 2 being the best players naturally.

I wouldn't want to play against Nonu, would much rather be on his team. As for Chris Carlos, he always comes across as a really nice bloke, whenever he is interviewed on the telly. Top player, too.
Forgot to mention, Stacy Jones' wife was my gf's daughter's teacher at primary school.
