I am an everton fan so it was obvious that i would begin a game as them.

Played a couple of pre-season friendlies to get used to the team i inherited. Drew with Celtic, beat Caley thistle. But noticed some weak points, so went to buy some players, then hmmmmmm what is this, only 1.3million to spend!!!! Not good but true to life i guess!!! So tried to sign some out of contract players, find a couple i wouldn't mind so i go to offer them a contract and......wait a minute, "the board will allow wages up to £55 a week". FIFTY FIVE QUID A WEEK!!!!!! WHAT!!!!!!!!!!! are you sure, you couldn't sign up half a donkey for that, or emile heskey!!!! I wasn't happy. It said i was £80,000 over my wage budget, good then!!!!

So i sold Pistone for £4million to arsenel and went back to the buying screen thinking, "hey i have more money, should be able to buy someone now", alas no, sure i had around £5.5 mil to spend but i was still £75,000 over my wage budget so my board will still only allow wages upto £55. This isn't good. I can't buy anyone!!!!!!

And to make things worse, by the time pre-season was over, 14 yes 14 of my first team were injured!!!!! so basically had to put out an under 19 squad in my first premiership fixture and got truely walloped by Middlesborough.

I am not happy at the moment, i think CM4 is a good game, but not if you are everton!!!!!!

Everton are supposed to be **** in the game. I will try them as a challenge certainly. :)

the reason why the wages you can offer are so low is because at the top of the contract screen it will say the player does no want to join you!!!!!!!!!!


as i encounter somit like that with castle but mine was £75

but when they were interested it was fine

The very low minimum wage has been sorted in the latest patch apparently.

It is surprising how crap Everton are considering how well they're doing in the current PShip.

Also, starting each word in your subject wih a capital looks very annoying :)
