Dissapointed with PES2 on PS1

I just got PES2 for my PS1 emulator.
Frankly im a bit disappointed.

The two factors which i dont like about PES2 are:

I cant find any dfference btwn PES and PES2. both in gfx and gameplay.

ITs TOO EASY!! even when i played ISS pro evo if i played aus v iran(on hard) i would just scape a win or mebbe get lose.......on PES i win every game about 7-0 , 8-0

I even beat brazil 7-1 with holland.......

i mean the best thing bout PES was it was hard to score but in PES2 on the PS1 at least its piss easy.

Shuld neva had paid for this game!

yeh, I thought that about PES2 for ps2 when I first got it (a few days ago). Whenever me and my bro played against each other, we'd end up with scores like 5-4, 5-1 etc etc

but these last couple of games have been awesome! I think its because we finally stopped defending like it was PES, and started to play it like the new game it is. We are both better at defending now, and the games are much tighter. its awesome. :)

I found the same thing and got PISSED OFF, then I edited the stats and now I think it's the best of the series, better than WE6, and I'm a hardened PES gamer :)

yeh...I haven't edited the stats, and I'm already starting to love it. I'm still getting used to it, but its getting better and better. I don't think I'll ever edit the stats. well, it doesn't look like it atm anyway. Me and my bro are just having too much fun. And I still need to get into the ML. :rockman:

i think u guys dont get my point. not trying to be rude but im talking bout PES2 on PS1 against the comp. Its much too easy. Also on PS1 wot is the ACTUAL difference between PES2 and PES1???
i cant find any. Im sure there are differences in PS2 but not for the playstation 1 version.

I know what you are talking about. I just haven't played the PES2 ps1 version, and don't think I ever will, so I was just giving you my opinion of the ps2 version. They do look the same from a distance (pes and pes2), because I walked into the room and my brother was playing pes2, and I thought it was pes. But once you actually start playing its entirely different.

I've played against the comp, and although its easy to score, I didn't find it overly easy. But then again I've only played a couple of games against the comp, so I haven't fully gotten used to it yet.
