I'm disappointed with PES6 but it's not a surprise that it's not any better than the last couple of versions. After all, Seabass himself admitted a couple of years ago that his programming team had reached the limits of the PS2 processing power in terms of improving the AI and gameplay.
The PS3 makes available new power so hopefully new ideas will be forthcoming in PES7.

dude for me the best pes is pes 5, this is the perfect pes for me, i still play 2day, i bought pes6 but i didnt like it too much, it seems to easy to dribble and run with the ball, to me and every1 i speak to that plays pes every1 perfers pes5, idk i just hope in the next pes they make dribblng and running with the ball alot more difficult, cuz it really looks like they made pes6 easy to play with the world cup and all and more attraction of gamers so i believe they made it easy to play. cheers!

im just disappointed with the online mode.
Other things that bother my gaming experience
shooting system, passes are horrible, goal keepers are pretty bad as well.
other than that i like playing in the single mode.
Also even in the top player game is too easy. I can play with the weakest team and finish a whole season on top like 10 points ahead.

Even the great Wolf was bitchin about that and famously declared it the worst PES ever and that he was going to stop playing it. Well he came back, played PES5 and loved it, after a while.
But the bitching on the forum got so huge and so PES6 came out with players able to dribble from one end to the other. Well that's what all the bitches wanted and they got it.
Now with PES6 everyone says PES5 was better... this **** happens every single year. Now the main thing everyone is complaining about is the ball ballooning over from point blank range. RTFM, it says press R2 if you want to do a controlled shot FFS. The moderators should pin up a topic "For biatches who keep ballooning over, here's spoonfeeding time" telling them how to shoot + R2.
Because if everyone keeps complaining then PES7 will be just like an arcade game with 0 difficulty.

In single player mode this game is the best. Online mode is crappy because they didnt have in mind that everyone would tackle like a bitch and run like crazy. So tackles are too efficient. Even after the tackles players get up too fast and possess the ball. But nothing is perfect. We will all learn to live with it sooner or later.
I remember we all complained about pes5 just like this one. In 3 months i couldnt play anything but pes5. For ****s sake i couldnt even turn on my xbox360 for 2 months because of pes5 online.

I thought PES3 was better then PES4, until i got used to it & realised pes4 was actually better.
I thought PES4 was better then PES5, until i got used to it & realised pes5 was actually better.
I thought PES5 was better then PES6, until i got used to it & realised pes6 IS actually better................
Just keep playing it, get into the 'feel of it' and it will all start to feel very natural, flowing, exciting... took me about 2 weeks to get PES5 out of my system and start to feel 'right' with Pes6. Put your self through that period of pain - it's worth it!
Also - people should stop saying 'it's slower' or 'its faster' than previous versions - it's as fast or slow as you want it to be! if you want to play fast ping pong football, you can. If you want to play slow football you can.
