Direct IP: no options on what to do after a tie

This is the stupidest thing ever. When you tie a game playing via Direct IP, there isn't an option to select whether to end game as tie, play extra time and play penalties. This is stupid.

Any ideas on how to fix this or what the heck to do please post them.
