That was so ridiculous. Dida sucks. What an utter twat. Sure, ideally Celtic shouldn't let a person on the pitch, but short of fencing I seriously don't think it's possible to be 100% secure. Even if you had a large number of security staff you'd only need some nutcase in the crowd to be fast/big/good at rugby to dodge their way onto the pitch. You get streakers and stuff and nobody really cares anyway. Without high fences anybody can get on the pitch so we should stop thinking this is the club's fault in some way. I really don't see that it is. If he had ran about near the corner flag then left the pitch without going near Dida nobody would care, would they?
I'm certain I could get on most pitches in the country before a security guard caught me. Fact is most people don't bother. It's the idiot fan's fault, not the club's fault. The ONLY way to completely eradicate the chance of something like this happening is massive fences, which we don't want, because this type of thing is rare enough anyway.

I don't get it, why to AC milan fans utterly HATE Dida? I think he's a pretty good goalkeeper...not a Buffon...but still pretty good.
And is seems like AC Milan fans just give him crap all the time...they really don't care that he's saved the team plenty of times...
But that's just the way I see it...I'm not a Milan fan so I don't really know the whole story...

if Dida is punished, i will boycott football for 2 months. i will lose all respect for the game and its administrators. What a disgrace!
That cheat, messi, dives every week. No one does nothing about it. he even used his arm to score a goal like his cheating mentor. nothing was done about it. yet, he is being touted as a great ambassador of the game.
The other cheat in manchester - Ronaldo - dives every week like an olympic diver, yet, nothing is done about it. He takes turns with his cheating colleague - Rooney - and they are praised as football stars!
Dida falls to the ground to call attention to a silly fan who confronted him on the pitch, and he is up for punishment? what if the fan was a drunk? or on drugs? and had a knife? or worse a gun and shot dida dead!!! Should the co ncern not be that celtic, a big scottish club are so ignorant and dumb not tio have adequate security? shoudl the concern not be a serious ban and hefty fine for celtic?? No!!! lets punish Dida.. absolute disgrace of a sport.

Rightly or wrongly, whatever your views on diving are, trying to win a penalty or free kick could help your team win. Dida's acting is not so much more immoral, however it is much, much more stupid. He gained nothing other than making himself look like a dick.

Maybe i msiunderstand the rules of the game. maybe diving and cheating is not so bad afterall. NO!! I dont misundertand the game. i undertand it perfectly. cheating and diving to hlep your team is grossly against the spirit of the game. You also claim dida wanted to get the game forfieited? i guess you know whats on dida's mind right? could it not also be that he was trying to call attention to the unruly fan?

What Dida did was a disgrace and he should be punished for it simple as that. If you start making up non legitimate excuses for people then nothing will ever change.
