Detail Level of FIFA 2004

Can someone help me....The lame ass FIFA 2004 has settings to change your resolution but no settings to change your detail level of the graphics....I heard ManWithNoMouth (a member of this forum) modified the ini file and managed to do it.......Anyone knows how to modify it to make the detail level to medium?? Coz it looks like crap and the default setting even deactivated the lighting of the game......coz i played the demo with medium detail and it runs smoothly....Damn EA for forcing me into this position....

Into the data/cmn folder there are 3 files: cfg_pc_h.ini, cfg_pc_m.ini and cfg_pc_l.ini. I believe these are files to change the detail level do high, low or medium, but i dont know how to use they. :(

see that u are from singapore..me 2.. i too can't change so its not wrong with ur pc..are u using keyboard or wad?

With the demo..the graphics were ten times nicer than the crap i now have...even the floodlights are missing..i use a keyboard by the way...The game is obviously a straight port frm the PS2...It doesnt let u change the detail..it doesn't let u change the buttons structure...look at the menu and u noe wat i mean...during gameplay when u wanna sub players, u cant just click properly..u have to press the D button and use arrow keys to navigate the sub list..obviously a port frm the PS2 and you can tell EA rushed this out straight from the PS2....

If FIFA2004 is a port, then FIFA 2004 Demo and FIFA 2003 are
too, 'cause the structure is the same.

Instead, you could investigate parameters like:

RENDER_QUALITY
HALFSIZE_TEXTURES

maybe one parameter like these parameters may be interesting
to put in locale.ini. you can extract configuration files with biggui,
or being very curious using a hexadecimal editor on fifa2004.exe

do the other versions experience the same problem? coz i can see on the CD it says manufactured in Singapore.. and Mandieta6 [winsms.org] how to edit the things u are talking about..
