There is no Uefa Challenge demo out yet, this is due to the fact Infogrames have been quite busy( that's what they say anway :) )

No demo and the game is only a Euro release, 'at the moment', man, they are making a huge mistake with that policy, it seems to be a strange way of promoting and selling the game, football is the world game lads, and selling the game is a world game too .. Ned

Football is football no matter what part of the world that you live in, the game would sell in the USA if it was promoted, we buy American Baseball, Gridiron, Ice Hockey games, and compared to football, they arn't major sports in Europe, yet we still play them and in most cases enjoy them, it also looks like Asia and South America will also miss out too, i ask you one question .. If for instance the guys from Infogrames made a football game featuring only South American club\national teams, would you or anyone else in this forum as a football fan buy it to play it, i know for sure that i would if it was of good quallity and content and if that was the case and the afore mentioned game was only available in South America, i for one would be spewing and wondering what ever was going on .. Alenitchev, football is becoming bigger in the us by the day, believe it or not (i live here). while not every fan even knows what uefa means, enough of us use the internet to get our news on everything inc. football, so the majority of real fans do know.
concerning the demo...
everyone i know who's a fan of the cpu games uses soccergaming to find out the latest, so if it's up here, we find out about it. personally i'm upset that uefa challenge is not going to be released here as i don't have a credit card or anything to order it online from an overseas distributer. if only there was a demo to convince me to snake my mom's for a sec.... ;)

Well, maybe... but I still think that the market in the US is very limited... and in some countries (Russia, Finland, Sweden, Norway, Czech Rep.) Ice Hockey is as most or even more porpular than soccer...

Yes, you are right in that respect, but i still think that the game should be released world wide <if only in smaller quantities> to give the football gamer a chance to play it .. and from what i have been picking up in regard to the Ps2 version, it seems as though that format will be a better world wide distribution .. and i can't see any difference in either Pc or Ps2 in regard to localising the distribution areas .. the post by Eleftherios really opened my eyes when he mentioned the ignorance in Australia in regard to the importers and distributers in that part of the world, and apparently now that things have been pointed out to them, they are now going to import the game... it's a funny old set up hey.. Ned
