Ho do I better stop opposing forwards constantly weaving in and out of my defense?

Unless I slide them down they seem unstoppable and even if I have 3 men back a forward like Drogba go's right through and scores.

Also, why do my defenders run away from an attack bering down on goal even though there is no oppsing attacker within yards?

Is this a marking issue? formation issue? Switching issue?

Tackle them??

Sorry, couldn't resist. Try holding down the tackle button with the nearest defender between the attacker and your goal and press them rather than diving in and attempting to take the ball off them immediately. If that still doesn't solve your problem try the 'call second defender' button

Which difficult level are you playing on?? Have you tried dropping down a level to see if that gives you a better gameplay experience?? I rarely, if ever, use slide tackles and can generally manage to keep a clean sheet in 40% of the games that my Hereford team play.

The AI is by no means perfect and auto-switching frequently seems to drag the key player away from the play to the extent that I've turned it off altogether. Try that and see if it makes a difference.

Lol in my game the defence is like the real world, somtimes they 'attack'(defence) hard to the player(Like Torres, Pato,) But theres big differens if the defender is Terry or Jens Gjesing
