yiiip. The new one actualy looks harder to me. Maybe its just that im not used to it yet.

i'm thinking should i categorize the training schedule instead of put all the first team players in a schedule. ummm..i mean should i make a schedule only for defender, a schedule for defensive midfielder and so on.....

im not sure yet. Depends on how much it affects the coaches being on many different sch. Atm all im changing is the coaches. I signed a couple of more and now i just get more stars from them since each one doesnt do many things. Im jusst gonna wait a little bit looking for any posts or atricles from ppl who have understood or know how the system works this time

The coaches oversee different parts of schedules. It depends on the number of players they oversee, and how hard they are training in that area, how hard the coaches have to work.

It doesn't matter how many schedules you have, you can have one for every player, the coaches have their own schedules.

im devastated, ive used Dave's training schedule for years :D

Well, a combo of Dave/Cleon.

If you're in desperate need of schedules then i expect community.sigames.com will have a lot of people thinking the same thing.

Well I have a copy of FM2006 here in my sticky hands, but I'm still in England (not my PC) so I won't get to play it until next Monday.

I'll try and figure out the training system ASAP and work on a new schedule!

today i spend almost an hour on the new training system try to find out how it works. so, this is my thought.

first of all, i've found that coach/staff attributes in FM2006 has a little bit changed. few numbers of new attribute has been added such as Attacking, Defending, Fitness, Mental, Tactical and Technical

second, in the new training system. it has been categorized into different parts instead of an activity that do the trick (such as overloading (attacking) in FM2005). so, this is what i thought on the section

Strength, Aerobic
this 2 fields are to improve player's strength, pace, agility and etc. bascially this is physical parts in player's attribute so i assumed these field are related to Fitness attribute which mean if the coach have higher value in Fitness attribute, they can do better job

Goalkeeping
apparently this is for goalkeeper and link to Coaching Goalkeepers attribute

Tactics
i think this field is related to Tactical

Ball Control, Shooting
these 2 fields are to improve player dribbling, technique, first touch, finishing and etc. so i think the Technical attribute will do

Defending
apparently is related to Defending attribute

Attacking
the same. link to Attacking attribute

Set Pieces
this is the field which confuse me. i don't know put it into which category :S

assumed that i was right. so i assigned my coaches to handle their strongest field which end up i have more stars on it. but there is another thing confuse me which is, when you assigned more task to the coach, the stars will be reduce (or averaged) which i'm not understand how it works.

let say i assigned Vicenzo Picollini to handle Attacking (5 stars), then i assigned him to handle Defending as well (it turns into 4 stars for Attacking and 3 stars for Defending). this is the part that i'm not understand. sorry for my english, hope you guys able to understand

Senior Squad
I've set up different schedules for each part of the team. I have made these schedules:

* goalkeepers with much focus on goalkeeping (obviously),

* central defenders (with focus on defence, strength, tactics. NO attack.)

* backs and wings (with focus on aerobics, attack, defence and ball control)

* defensive midfielders (with focus on defense, strength, tactics, a bit less on attack and ball control)

* creative midfielders (with focus on attack, ball control and shooting, a bit less on defense, strength and tactics)

* forwards (with focus on shooting, attack, ball control, a bit less on strength, tactics and aerobics. NO defence.)

This has worked very well for me with Roma, and I can actually see players like Cassano and De Rossi getting better at what I want them to be better at. De Rossi is a true defensive battler with very good offensive qualities. And Alberto Aquilani is also being shaped to a new Totti/De Rossi. He has better offensive skills than De Rossi and is better defensive than Totti. He is a complete midfielder ;)
