Cut Players Stuck In Free Agency?

I cut a few players and they became free agents. From then on, when I see them in the free agency list and during the next season, for example, try and sign them, the "sign" option is missing. There is text that says something like "approach is disabled" and they are free agents forever, no other team can sign them either.

Why?

Other teams can sign them but only if those teams are interested in them and only if those players want to move to that team. The same behaviour happens if you don't extend a player's contract. They became free agents and you can't sign them, no matter what. And even if they sign with a team, they won't be able to be bought back to your club. Also, if you move to another club, you still won't have the possibility to get that player (not extended contract player or sacked player) to your new club. It's all related to you and your actions!

This problem reminds me about TCM 2004 & 2005 too (Total Club Manager game, produced by the same EA Sports). If you're selling a player, that player won't accept ever to return at your club.

Many things in FIFA 13 aren't realistic, but, on the whole, it's an enjoyable game. :)
