I pretty much like the game, however I do have some concerns. Number 1: Why are we not able to create our own cups, tournaments and leagues? I would like to be able to create a competition where I get to decide everything. I wanna decide how many teams, how many human controlled teams (not just the abillity to have a maximum of 8 humans as in previous FIFAs), if there is a group stage first with for example 2 groups of 5 teams or 8 groups of 4 teams or whatever, or maybe I just want a cup with knockout matches. Back in -94 there was this great game on Amiga called Sensible World of Soccer where you could decide eveything.
I mean sure it is fun the play the CPU a couple of times, but the real fun is to beat your friend in the final of an all night cup. As it is now my and my mates will waste tons of papers and pencils writing down all the results.
Number 2: It cant be that hard to implent the right starting elevens and squads for a team in Sweden. For example "my" team Malmö FF has half the the starting eleven wrong, plus the other half of the eleven are in the wrong postions. And the transfer of last years best striker in Norway Tobias Grahn that came to Malmö in June isn´t in the game?!?! Another concern is the ratings of the players and teams. For example IFK Göteborg is rated as the best team in Sweden, come on!! That was seven years ago. Last year they had to qualify to stay in Allsvenskan, this year they will end up like 7th or something. Peter Ijeh was last years best goalscorer with 24 goals in 23 matches, he has at rating of 36?!? at least 20 less than the avrege rating of the rest of the Malmö players. That is odd.
Number 3: Some gameplay issues. The other two concerns are just some timetaking things that aren´t that hard to implent, the gamelplay however is maybe a bit harder, but here are my only main concerns on gamelplay: The goalies must get better, especially on crosses. Many times the attacker just stands beside the goalie and jumps to head the ball in, and the goalie just stands there and looks as if nothing is going on.
I think the defense play has got a lot better this year, it is really hard to get goal attempts. And that is a good thing. However it is almost impossible to take on a defender 1 on 1. Last years FIFA it has been to easy now it is too hard. I want something in between.
