Are you building it yourself?

www.ebuyer.com
www.dabs.com/uk
www.overclockers.co.uk
www.komplett.co.uk

So far, ebuyer is the cheapest, then aria and dabs, and komplett isn't bad either.

I think so, but are you getting a socket-754 motherboard? What processor are you getting?

If it's an Athlon 64 I'd recommend a Gigabyte GA-K8NSNXP.

Mesh are class, we have a mesh computer . . . that is 7 years old (H)

If you want a pre-built one, NEC computers (http://www.nec-online.co.uk) are the most solid ones. Great performance, easily overclockable, great customer support and the computer is built very sturdily: if you want to add or change components it is fantastically easy. :ewan:

And yes, I am on an NEC computer now :$

I don't think intel are bringing out a 64 bit CPU for a while, ATM I'd go for the Athlon 64.

Looking at it, perhaps socket 754 is for the 3200+'s down. I think after 3200+ the price steps are too great and you could spend that money on better RAM, gfx etc.
