I think EA could do ALOT to improve the crowd animations and other things regarding the crowds for Fifa 2006:
1. First, the attendance HAS to be various.. Playing Notts County vs. Kidderminster on San Siro shouldn't have a full packed stadium. Why change the way it was in Fifa2004, when the stadiums were half-full if your team did bad? That worked out just great! In fifa2005, it's totally un-realistic.. and just dumb!
2. I would love to see more crowd animations; for instance in-crowd animations when a goal is scored (this was also in F2004, wasn't it? Why remove it? why??) Crowd animations on bad refereeing/ bad tackles as well... would give much more feel to the game... And I would love to see some TIFO shows! Maybe not when it comes to the british leagues, but other european teams (south europe/scandinavia etc) often have cool tifo shows before and under the game... huge banners/flares (the single flare sometimes seen in Fifa 2005 doesn't really take my breathe away), and paper rolls... etc... Shouldn't be too hard to bring to the game..
3. Boo-ing on players getting booked was a great new feature in fifa 2005. Why not build on this? Boo-ing several times (not just the first time he gets the ball after the booking) would be cool, especially after really a really bad tackle.
And what about bringing this to another level with boo-ing on players that's been sold and playing against their old club again! That would be awesome! Not just in-game transfers, but also from real life transfers... would love to hear Everton fans "welcoming" wayne rooney back to Goodison!
