Crossing ? How to do it ?

In FIFA 11 all crosses are the same .. Most of them are going to the far post at the 6 yard line behind the goalkeeper.

Maybe I am used to PES crossing system so I can't cross probably in FIFA 11 ..So :

Can you cross to the near post ? how ?
Can you cross to the penalty spot ? how ?

What is EARLY CROSS in FIFA 11 ? because every time I press LB + X the ball goes straight ahead

u hv to tap cross button quickly 2 times for low cross and 3 times for ground cross .
will hv to press LB too for early crosses .
crossing is really difficult in fifa 11 unlike 09.

I already now about low cross and ground cross. I hope EA will fix crosses and make them more playable, realistic and randomize as in PES

i reckon after the cross u gona control the player to find the spot to give a header or volley, i found this is different from PES. i mean if you played PES for quite a long time, gona take some time to get used to fifa cross, honestly fifa cross is more fun, practice is always hard bro

thats how you do it, you cross the ball, then choose player to head or volley the ball very easy and not hard at all its all about the timing, just like real fotball

Thanks mates. only now I can feel it. crossing in FIFA 11 is great so far. I will get used to it soon

I find they are very similar, so to combat it i've changed my cross assist to manual, can pick out the person easier, but to actually get it to them is harder. At least i can supply a variety of crosses now though.

Yeah, I found crossing to be frustrating under 'assisted'. They were generally all very similar and hit with too much pace. Try it out with semi-assisted. That keeps crossing quite accurate, but allows you flexibility on the power.

Try Fidel's patch, i'd found very improved the crossing and the heading, also can make my deadly ground crosses as on fifa10.
