. zahovic was excellent in my opinion, although he only did much in the first half, the second was just bunker and quick contra-attacks (which were few and far between).
croatians on this board, can you report if there were any problems with fans on any side? and, how are you satisfied with the game? come on, i know theres croatian peeps on this board, and peeps who watched this game. all i got was a page and a half of flames

this is a very good result for slovenia who have a great chance of making it to EURO again this time... WOW what an achievement if they make it!yeah there's Croats here...a tight game, we played with 7 defenders in the first half (!) and played poorly.
In the second Croatia completely dominated, the possession was 75%-25% in our favour, we missed a few good chances but the Slovenian 11 man defense held strong and threatened on the counter.
We had 14 corners in the second half, but nobody could get it in there.
On Wednesday we play in Ljubljana, and I believe Croatia will make it.
ps. well done to Slovenia for such a valiant battleand congratulations to Prasnikar for his tactics, not very pretty, but effective.

I only saw the highlights on BBC, but those fans were f**king brilliant! IMO Croatians are the best fans, I went out to Split last year when we played Hadjuk Split in the UEFA, and those fans were awesome, and so I believe were the Dinamo Zagreb fans a couple of weeks later. You talked about Croatia getting in trouble, was there violence then??

I think slovenia have better chance to go to portugal, cos croatian players still have no respect to slovenia. That will bury them.

Allthough Siljak won't play in the match (two yellows), they will put Rudonja in his place, who isn't a good player but is incredible fast, and he will make quick attack plays, the croats should watch him.
The croats have no chance to win. We have the heart, they have famous players, but that won't help them against SLOVENIA !!!!!
