Crespo Is Back 2 Inter

Red Card - Being 2 Annoying

FC Internazionale Milano have brought Hernán Crespo back to Italian football after he was allowed to leave Chelsea FC.

The Argentina striker spent the 2002/03 campaign with Inter, scoring seven goals in 18 matches. He left for Chelsea in a €24.25m deal the following season, only to then return to the Italian city to sign for AC Milan on loan in 2004/05. He went back to Chelsea a year ago but never fully settled in London. The 31-year-old made a total of 49 Premiership appearances, scoring 20 goals, but he recently acquired Italian citizenship and speculation has been rife about his return to the country.

Crespo will have a two-year contract with Inter, although Chelsea have retained the right to take him back next summer. He has been capped 59 times by his country, scoring 32 goals. Part of that tally was his four appearances and three goals at the 2006 FIFA World Cup finals. As the champions of Italy, following Juventus's relegation, Inter will enter the UEFA Champions League in the group stage. The club have been busy this summer with other new recruits including defender Fabio Grosso and midfielder Patrick Vieira.

oh no, Rui10Costa is going to be devastated...

well, Crespo tends to be quite better in italian footbal imo, so it's good to him to move to Inter again..

No, it's 'Crespo is back at Inter'.

Never capitalize in the middle of a sentence. I'm bored and (8)I'm goina let it shine.(8)

I thought he was decent with Inter and obviously very good with Milan.

I'm actually happy to see him back. Linked up very nicely with Vieri, and I think he can do the same with Adriano. Finally a CF whose more centralized in his efforts. With Adriano drifting often the wings, now there's actually a guy who can finish off the great crosses coming in from the left or the right.

BTW, He actually cried when he left Inter, feeling it was a great family to him. Very nice gesture. But he went to Milan later on, but I guess all can be forigven for moments of insanity. :jap:

Wonder what number he's gonna take...

Thank Christ he's gone. What a waste of money. Spent all his time whinging and sulking. Dunno why the bloke left Italy in the first place. The EPL was too tough for him. Will NOT be remembered at Chelsea that's for sure. Bye Bye Hernan :ewan:

And scoring when he got his chances...

If he would have gotten as many chances as dogbreath I think it would have been different

dont know if this was posted already but chelsea have the option to sign him back after a year

Yeah, but what's the point? I've never seen anyone so eager to leave a country because he can't adjust to the lifestyle. This clause makes no sense to me.

It was a frigging stupid clause. I guess its just insurance in case he lights the world on fire, but the fact is its not a loan, and he is their property, and obviously, he'd have to agree to such a move first. Which will never happen.

Feels a bit like the end of the Veron saga where we just loaned him out to Inter until the end of his contract. But once again, we dont stand in the way of a player who genuinely wants out (I doubt Gallas will be the first).

And unlike Veron, I will actually miss Crespo. Fought injury and the miscarriage of a child his first time in London, found his greatness again while back in Italy, and scored some very significant goals for us last year. Probably wasnt worth the 17 million we paid, but we havent gotten real value for price since 2003.

Now, weve lost three stirkers and gained two. Im wondering if we stand pat, or if we use Scott Sinclair as a part time callup. I wonder what Mika Forssell is doing
