Creatting an "INI" file..??

I know that this kind of topics should be going in the "support" section but i write this here just in case someone will make an effort to help for a change... o_O;

On the bottom there are some cheats to make the game run smoother etc.The problem is that i don't know how to create an INI file... :P

Any help...?

right click.... new---> text document then open the file new text document.... put in the script then file... save as.... file type---> change from text documents to all files... once you have done this write the filename xxxxx.INI then save... there you have a new .ini file

How come when i create an ini file to change resolution it does not do anything and still plays in a terrible 800x600. I have definitely done the file correctly?

I have widescreen 1280x800

You also need to change it in-game setup, otherwise your menus will be at 1280x800 but when you actuality play, it will be the same as the in-game setup.

When i change the in game set up from 800x600 to 1024x740 or whatever it is i cant remmeber, it makes no difference whatosever.. What ever i do the menus are ALWAYS in 800x600..

it will be part of one of this 3 consequencies i guess
make sure u take care of this points;

- IS your monitor's settings on the right settings -
- Don't u enter a wrong resolution value in the .INI program u wrote
- Do u place it in the main directory of F08

RESOLUTION = 1280x800x32

that is saved as locale.ini in FIFA 08 home directory.

Is that right?

Can anybody tell if 1920x1080 (Full-HD / 1080p) will work with this game?!
Mine crashes if I enter this into locale.ini
