After following this conversation for while, it's pretty clear the only thing to do at this point is to reload your last saved backup file that you know worked. Start with that file again, but only edit one small thing. Then test that edit in-game to make sure it works. Also, test it in career mode as well, because some people are having issues with modded files working in exhibition mode but not career mode. After you know your edit works, make another small edit and test that. And make backups of every new file that you know is working correctly. That way, if the file suddenly doesn't work anymore, you can load your last backup that worked. AND you now know exactly where the issue is.

I'm in the middle of a season with Bordeaux in career mode, you change some players appearances and releases a couple who were also left-handed and right to master the creation does not recognize me when continuous changes career mode, but if friendly .. some solution??

you cannot edit the db while in career mode or the save will be corrupted.

Any good mate that explain exactly what i ve to do to solve the default boots bug? Ok i ve assigned for example the boots with id 43 to totti(id 1238) and save with cm13, the game show me the default ones again, so i open the db with dbmaster 12 and go in players, id 1238 and shoedesigntype from 1 to 0, save. Ok but in game i see again the default ones..... Where i wrong? The dbmaster 12 works fine without any modify right?

how to import hidden players id in fifa 13. In fifa 12 with cm12 i found the brazil ronaldo by
typing the id 37576.As there is no cm13 how do i do it. plz help. Ronaldo is my favorite player

I think, is it possible an id error? CM13 assign automatically the 120009 to a new team: when I go back home I try to change with the first free id number

non so spiegarmi bene in inglese: mi crasha prima della scelta del kit, quando selezioni la squadra e appare la scritta "pronto!" e devi scegliere la seconda squadra. La schermata dei kit è dopo.
Per i kit delle nuove squadre clono dei kit già esistenti: funziona, perchè con le squadre di serie B l'ho fatto per creare i kit dei portieri e i terzi kit.
Mi viene in mente che potrebbe essere un problema di id della squadra? Di default mi assegna il 120009 in avanti, non sono troppo alti? Quando torno a casa provo a vedere qual è il primo libero

The problem was the formation: when I create a new team with CM13, the formation tab doesn't work, i cannot see the player and i can't select any formation. So the game crashes...
I've opened the DBMaster12 and in the formation table, I inserted a new record for my new team, copying an existing one.
When I reopen the CM13 I see the formation in the tab: now I can modify tactics, starting linups, etc.

You need to change 3 other values - shoetypecode, shoecolorcode1 and shoecolorcode2. Put 169 in shoetypecode, 30 in shoecolorcode1 and 31 in shoecolorcode2. You can get the idea by clicking in the "playerboots" table (and, no, dbmaster12 works just fine without anything).

I have a question about CM12, if someone can answer...please..

When u add kits to teams that don't have (Napoli, etc), there is a section named Jersey/Collar and I wanna know what does Has Advertising changes? What is it for? It something that affect the game, like showing/not showing logos on kits??

quick questions gents, I've just downloaded CM12/13 and when i load up the program i've got no images showing up. No boots, no Logos, no adboards, no gloves, flags etc. only thing that appears is minifaces. Any clue how I could fix that? cheers


Never mind figured it out, but has anyone found a way yet to edit generic boots?

The lastest version of CM 13 allows you to fix/switch generic boots. You can also open up the db with DBM 12 and make changes to any player's boots by editing their shoe codes.

i think i had creation master and all these other tools working like fifa 11 and then it all went to shit. i cant open the db and such.

No, it doesn't. You get the boots of a clown. He'll figure it out eventually.

Not sure if you're being serious or funny here. After editing formations with CM 13, I noticed players on my team had generic white boots. I then used CM 13 to switch to different colored boots, it took one quick click of the mouse. So yes, it does work.

I think Fahad talkin about default boots bug, and he s right, cm13 doesn t save changes.....

Using CM 13, I can edit my player's generic boots, change them to a different color, save, then see those changes in-game. So what do you mean?

Okay, but I was responding specifically about editing generic shoes, which you can in fact edit with CM 13. I wrote: "The lastest version of CM 13 allows you to fix/switch generic boots."
