Creation centre in console versions?

As an X-Box owner, I would like to get the game on the xbox format for many reasons - mainly because I can play tournaments with my mates on it.

However, I need some sort of confirmation that there will be some way of editing/creating players & teams on the console versions. I heard about the downloadable editor for PC, but nothing so far to do with the xbox or any other console...

anyone know anything about this?

If that means there's no way of creating/modifying players in the xbox version... D'oh!

Oh well, I'll probably end up getting PC AND Xbox versions!

Well if that is the case, I have to say that sucks. Given the fact that in past few years ea have got many players hair colour etc. wrong and have missed out some players, I find it dissapointing. I hope that they still have the ability to at least transfer players on consoles, as many transfers usually take place over the course of the season. The rest of the game better be a big improvement given the fact that features are being cut rather than added. If not this willl be the last fifa I buy, that's for sure. :kader:

"....Anyways, I bet the graphics will look a hell of alot stellar on the XBOX as oppose to the PS2's crappy frame rate. I'm still skeptical about the CGN version though. [/B][/QUOTE]

Best console football game: Pro Evolution Soccer ( PS2 )

Best console driving game: Gran Turismo 3 ( PS2 )

Best console fighting game: Tekken 4 ( PS2 )

Best console 'first person' game: Medal of Honour ( PS2 )

See a pattern there?

I'm not trying to cause trouble here, but I'm getting a little tired of xbox owners ( all three of them ) rubbishing the Playstation2.

I personally think that fifa2003 will probably be pretty impressive in the graphics department in all formats, as that has never really been one of fifa's faults, give or take an animation or two.

Damn right!

Let's not forget...X-Box's overall poor sales worldwide, to the point where they're practically giving them away in Japan

You also forgot the best console RPGs: Final Fantasy X & Kingdom Hearts (PS2)

PS2 & GC are better than XBox in virtually every way, imho, along with nearly everyone elses (bar XBox owners)

I dont think any of the console games from EA this yr have online, I read that Madden does not have online, and thats the biggest title they have, so we'll have to wait until 2004

Calm down guys - I own an xbox because I thought I might as well go with the most powerful console I could get - as I figured it'd last longer. (one of many reasons)

However, I agree that at the moment a majority of the really great games around are available for the PS2. I don't see the point of defending my choice by critisising PS2 or PS2 owners, nor do I expect to be critisised in the same way for owning an Xbox.

Chill out guys! :)

Metal Gear Solid 2 is coming for X-box, and if you check different reviews for the same games, like the head to heads on ign.com, the x-box version is usually recommended, usually better graphics and better sound.

Anyway, I have an xbox and I am happy with it, more and more games are coming out. PS2 is great, specially for sports because the controller is a bit better.

Well, for 'first person' game in the X-BOX : 'Halo' game is still #1 best game compared to other consoles. ;)

For other game in football, driving, & fighting, PS2 still rule. :D

Medal of Honor is coming to Xbox, GT3 I played it on the ps2 and I just dont like that game anyway.. it looks good but still has the same tracks as the original playstation and thats just boring to me. PES2 I dont know, I am in North America we dont have that luxury, and is not trying to rub anything but the games that come out on xbox usually look better than ps2, medal of honor will be a good example of that

I own GT3 and MoH:F.... So I really don't see what your trying to prove, If your trying to say that PS2 has a better selection of games as oppose to XBOX's poor games, than all I gotta say is:

Congrats on stating the obvious, Captain Obvious.

You went toally off subject. I wasn't even talking about PS2's outstanding library of games, I was talking graphics wise.

XBOX's architecture is far more superior as oppose to Sony's "emotion engine", that my friend is fact.

So before you start preaching on how PS2 has a great game library, maybe you should re-read my post before typing.

First of all congrats on the pointless 'captain obvious' remark. What a razor-sharp wit you have. What I am trying to prove, as you put it, is that PS2 does not have crappy graphics. I gave examples of great games simply because these games illustrate amongst other things, good graphics ( I have yet to see a driving game on x-box where the cars match gt3 in detail ). The best games must include the best graphics. x-box may indeed have a better graphics engine, but the fact remains that very few games on x-box exploit this. X-Box is a fine machine, but I do not think it is greatly superior in any department to PS2, and remains poorer in some. As long as everyone is happy with their personal choice, I don't see how it matters much. But crappy graphics....wake up!!
Now can we please get back to talking about FIFA.

Yeah, I see what your talking about. But on a side note, I said "crappy frame rate". Frame rate and graphics are two totally different things.

Lets discuss FIFA.

Cool. Fifa on X-Box is bound to be sh*t. Just kidding. No hard feelings.
