Hey guyz, i installed CC and its great, there is a lot of things to do and alot of freedom....but.............i wished i never installed it :(
After editing many teams and players, my career came across my mind, i wondered if this would screw up my career, in which i completed three years, got 4.5 prestige stars, and moved Brentford (a 2nd Division English team) to the Premiership. I was soo proud of my team, i got soo far with my team.......so i was really afraid that it would be screwed up.
So i loaded my career after all the editing in CC, i pressed on "Team Management" and the game crashed.......WTF?!!! :f***: Thats when i got scared, so i tried to play my next game in my career...........the game crashed again, i loaded my career again and pressed on "View Squads", it worked fine until i came across my team.........it crashed again :( So right now i dont know what the f@$# happened. My career does not work anymore, after THREE YEARS OF KICKIN A$$, its all over, all of the hard work and loss of sleep and now my career team went down the drain :( :(
WHAT DO I DO???!!!
Is there any way to fix this prob and continue with my career team?
What if i start a new career and edited some players, will the game crash again?
So with CC, u can only edit once and then play career and never edit agian??!! IF SOO, F@#$ CC!!!! :f***:

So i would really appreciate it if u guyz can tell me what went wrong and how to fix it, thanks :(

I had a similar problem, when I went to Team Managment all the names were in blank, and there was any players. What I did is replace the original fifa.db and eng.db (cause CC only edits this file:rolleyes:). Then you have to be sure is not in read only. Comparing I think you took much more time in your career, rather than editing with CC, so I recommend you to do this. :mrpimp:

ok....so u replaced those files that u mentioned, where can i find those file, CD 1 or CD 2? Because i searched in CD 2 and didn't find those files or am i doing something wrong. (I went to "My Computer" and right clicked on FIFA 2004 CD 2 and clicked on "Explore" and that got me to the FIFA 2004 folder, then i clicked on the data folder then on the cmn folder but i didnt find those files, what do i do?)

yea im in my 3rd year with Juve and im having the exact same crashing problem. However the replacing of the .db files corrected this, thanks.

I dont understand how EA can be proud with their game, then this

when i replace the original DB files, will all my career players have their default stats or will they still have the improvements they got from training?

nothing should change and your career should stay just as it was before you installed CC.

that's true. always back up your fifa.db (data/cmn) and eng.db (data/cmn/fe) before you do any editing. applies to both CC or ECP DBedit.

and yes, once you saved a career, you CANNOT change you db file. however, you are still able to install kits and do minor changes (i.e. change fonts, accessories, colours, etc...)

all right.....gotchya......thanks for all the help guyz, i really appreciate all ur cooperation and patience with me.

Creation Centre is still a kick a$$ utility, i just got scared when the career mode incident happened....but i fixed all of that and thanks to u guyz :)


P.S.- How do u change the captain of the team? And in "player info", do u guyz change things like " leadership, talent, consistency, tactical id's, and age ratio" ? If so, is the higher the # better?

is there a wayt that you can get rid of cc and nothing changes?
