Crash On Pre Seasons

There's only one way to find that out...
it does not work with added file,
I figure out that game crashes only if I added a specific team when I added Croatia and Nigeria the game does not crash but when I add Morocco and Algeria the game crashes what's the problem

I have all these and they work.
My problems really started, like I'm trying to say, when I developed World Cup qualifiers for each continent (or when I expanded the continental competitions, I'm not sure which). The point is, one of those isn't letting me access even Tournament Mode, let alone Manager Mode. I think it's the qualifiers, because I had to create them from scratch with unused IDs, but I'm not sure.

Has the community moved on so far that no one even bothers to tweak 16 anymore?

You must add the number of teams in international friendly tournament in CM 16. They say that you are allowed just 90 international teams i read it somewhere in this site and you have to check lua files you must add lua files assigned to the new added teams

About the number of NTs, I made sure of that. I have 75 international teams in my game, and I've assigned them all to International Friendlies.
Or does that count both men and women's teams? Because I have exactly 15 women's teams.
As for the .LUA files, how do I do that? My knowledge isn't that in-depth.

Also, try not to break your tags next time. I almost thought you didn't answer.

EDIT: Just checked out more about .LUA files. Doesn't seem too complicated, but I have too many teams added in via CMP (over 70, between clubs and NTs) to work on them one by one. Isn't there any way that they can be created in a batch, using the information I enter at CM16?

LUA files are very important for assignments you'll need to assign the tournaments or leagues and the kits details to the new team, they aren't complicated as you say.
I don't know a way that you can create many lua files at once maybe you can ask someone else

Do I need to make files for the goalkeepers in the players folder too?

In the player folder you assign boots faces tatoos something like that, it's not necessary you can do it if you want to, it's for keepers and players.

I just realized something I missed from the OP: "schedule.txt has less than 7000 lines".
I make most of my edits on CM16 (which changes the compdata files when I save), and my schedule.txt is at just over 7,500 lines!!! (7,571 to be specific) THAT must be my problem at the end of the day!
The problem is that I don't know exactly WHAT to cut from it (actually I do, but I'm really indecisive - I'm thinking of cutting Austria and Ireland, which I think are pretty useless, but they don't amount to the total I need to cut out). Does anyone have tips?!

EDIT: Trimmed Turkish League's calendar (actually pasted Bundesliga's calendar onto it, which had less unnecessary dates for the same number of teams), and that pared it down a bit, but it still didn't get there (currently at 7,446).

EDIT 2: I've been thinking, and I decided Poland would be my third cut. That brought the sum of lines cut to 471, 25 more than I need (111 from Austria, 101 from Ireland and 259 from Poland). I adjusted the European competitions accordingly (I didn't delete the leagues BTW, just the competitions, so they aren't playable in Manager Mode), and also took out some unnecessary legs from some other competitions. Current line total: 6,984. Now to test it.

UPDATE: The leagues I removed are still on Tournament Mode menu, which makes things pretty awkward. They can also be picked on Manager Mode menu, but I choose not to mess with them for fear of unintended effects. Tried Career Mode, and the game crashes before I start Manager Career, but for some strange reason it gets stuck on the loading screen with Player Career. Which is a reversal of how it used to be. Of course, if I try Player Career with a team whose season doesn't start at the middle of a year it will still crash. I AM GOING INSANE. STUPID GAME WITH ITS STUPID CODING AAAAAAAARGH

(FTR, I always regenerate on FHL-BH every time I close CM16)

Oddly, I have a save of a Career I started earlier with which I can enter Career Mode normally. However, the game won't move past July 31.

Funny note: Origin says I have put 888 hours in this game. Apparently it doesn't count the time the game is actually running, which is just a few minutes every time.

UPDATE 7/17: Wiped out Austrian Bundesliga, Ekstraklasa and League of Ireland for good, only saving a couple of teams. Restructured European competitions to fit them in. Still no dice.

UPDATE 7/20: I figured out I had accidentally left a block in one of my competitions with more teams than it needed and fixed that. Tested in game. Still nothing.

Why don't you make an alternative installation and start "fresh". Try to add your modifications in different stages a small piece at a time, and testing it in between addons. As soon as you run into problems, you can track back to the latest working state and try to pinpoint where exactly it goes wrong and why.

I think I did just that. I decided to eliminate the continental qualifiers (the ones I created, at least, for Africa and CONCACAF) and reduced the Asian, African and Gold Glory Cups to the state they were before (the game just chooses one country at random to be continental champion). Everything worked well, including Player Career, and by extension, the Preseason tournaments, except for African leagues, probably because the game had no programming for tournaments in Africa, but compared to what I've been through, that's peanuts - besides, if I set their starting month to August, they start with no problems, because this skips pre-season altogether. Then I decided to add back in the continental cups, and they worked too.

So I could pinpoint the cause: it was the Africa and CONCACAF qualifiers I created that were causing the game to crash (I had altered the format of the European and Asian qualifiers, plus the UEFA Euro qualifiers, and they didn't give any problems). I don't know if it was some ID conflict (especially considering I made sure of giving them unused IDs), but they were judged guilty and got the axe, so I had to put their countries at the drawing pool before the start of the World Cup. Individual testing proved they both cause the game to crash. I wish I know what EA has against letting us have qualifiers for all zones - or having a bigger selection of nations, for that matter.

As a side effect of having deleted leagues, however, when I set the European competitions to start with realistically seeded teams (which I always do, because the game's random selections are crap), Euro League now has 45 teams in the group stage instead of the 48 there are supposed to be - there's three groups that are left with only three teams, and there's no way to fill them. Doesn't stop the game from functioning though.
