Could i have some help with updating my graphics card please

Hi,

here is what my graphics card etc is right now.

Graphics integrated 3D AGP graphics performance
Video memory 11MB shared video memory
VGA graphics controller intel 810 integrated Direct 3D AGP graphics
Maximum 11MB
Type SDRAM


like many i have the problem of the rainbow players, EA sports said that they updated their graphics cards etc and the problem was fixed,

i has been on the intel website but i couldn't find any updates could some one please tell me what i need to update and how to do it

That's because your graphics chip is not supported by FIFA2003
So it'll probably never will work properly with the game.

These chips are supported, If you really want to play the game I suggest you get a card with one of these chips.


Recommended Chipsets
* ATI Radeon Series, Matrox G550, NVIDIA GeForce2, NVIDIA GeForce2 MX, NVIDIA GeForce3, and the Nvidia GeForce4.

Other Supported Chipsets
* 3D graphics accelerator using NVIDIA Quadro, NVIDIA Riva TNT, NVIDIA Riva TNT2 (Ultra), Matrox G400, Matrox G450, KYRO, KYRO II, KYRO III.

Check if your motherboard has an AGP slot before upgrading as your curent graphics chip is intergrated on the MoBo.

ok thanks, so i will have to go out and buy a new graphics card ? this problem cant be solved by downloading somthing ?

No, that Intel chipset with 11 mb shared memory is way to weak to run the game properly.

If you don't want to spend too much, get a GF2 64 MB or a cheap Radeon.
But it depends on what games you want to play in the future.

My graphics card is Hercules 3D Prophet 4000XT - a KYRO chipset.
I have also downloaded the latest driver for Windows XP but the demo still does not work. The screen is just full of corrupted graphics.
