Corners so One dimensional

I really thought by taking out the Off the ball control in set pieces were going to improve the corners. But they really didnt make an effort with them, all the players stand around, you cant bring ur CB's up for them and they are allready starting to piss me off.

Also the shooting in this game is to easy, every shot u do around the 18 yard box or just outside of it, is on target, u hardly have to aim , just get it in the blue area and its a goal most of the time (n)

You score like that even with lesser players... or are you playing with Man U all the time?

And about corners... I agree about bring up your backs etc... but for a change make sure you try holding down L1 to do a flat corner... it adds a lot of variation.

oh thx for the tip, didnt kno about that. U got any tips for shooting how to make them more powerful because at the moment i am having troubles scoring 1 on 1 wit the keeper, i go for accuracy but keeper always gets down to save it. Only way im scoring is in top corners.

As for corners, I like the way that FIFA gives you immediate control of the players once the ball is off the kicker's foot, which is quite nice. Not the linear (pick a player that the ball's gonna go to and move him around in time) style, which was quite stupid, but once you kick the ball in, you can fight around with your opponent so that you can get the best place for goal, and it's a matter of training on whether you'll even get the ball.

As for going round the goalkeeper, there are many, many options. Either try to shoot it past him the usual way, lob him (L1-Square or Q-D), go around him (pace control trigger and left analog or just right analog). There's not just one way.

Even though FIFA isn't perfect, or near PES (if you want to compare), in my opinion it goes straight to a good direction to become a really good footy game again, like before the 2xxx generation.
