Coppa Italia Final (2nd Leg) Inter vs Roma [P+R]

After a 40 yard strike, and a precision header from Il Imperatore, Inter Milan go into this game up 2-0 with 2 vital away goals. This is no where near a closed case as Roma will be looking to take advantage of a weakened Inter side. Inter's captain Javier Zanetti, player of the year Esteban Cambiasso, and superstar striker Adriano will all miss this game due to the Confederations Cup.

In the first leg, Roma came out extremely strong and dominated the first 10-15 min of the match. Once Inter got into their groove there was no looking back, and got the much needed 2 away goals.

Over 70,000 tickets were sold for this game, so the atmosphere will be fantastic, and I expect nothing but great football from both sides.

well de rossi is back, look for him to feature with either perrotta or dacourt. mancini and cufre are in the squad after recovering from the knocks they received in the first game, not sure if either will start.

i believe conti will field the trident as we have nothing to lose. i hope mancini is dropped to the bench in favour of a three man midfield consisting of de rossi, perrotta and dacourt. this could backfire in terms of possession and feeding the forwards but i do not see a three man defence. but if conti does go with a three man defence, i would hope for cufre-chivu-mexes.

Kily and C. Zanetti are having a hell of a game so far. Stankovic doesn't belong on the pitch, he is totally invisible, and he can't shoot for ****. I hope to see Veron take his place early in the 2nd half. Only 45 min left, we are doing a great job on defense, lets keep it up. FORZZZA RAGAZZZZI!!!!!

FORZAAAAAAAA INTER!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

What a game!!! I think I can safely say that the whole team played fantastico!! (Except Dejan). Our defence was the best I have ever seen it. Matrix and Mihajlovic played excellent, and Cordoba and Favalli held the wings.

C. Zanetti was a workhorse out there. He made such great tackles, and gave 120% for Inter. Kily also had a hell of a game. I haven't seen him play this good since....well ever! He was everywhere and running like he was 20 years old.

Martins and Cruz had an OK game. They had some chances, but Martins was way too excited in this game. His control was a bit off.

After the game, RAI had Javier Zanetti on the phone and he was so glad, and then they brought Stankovic over and had them talking to eachother, It was great stuff.

I am so happy right now for everyone, and it was too bad Capitano, Cambiasso and Adriano couldn't be there. And especially Bobo

hahah Galliani giving a trophy to Juve and now Inter, it's what dreams are made of
