I say a tie. Uruguay always starts slows and then picks up the pace in all the competitions they play. btw why did freaking Abreu was called up again?? They should have taken Hernan R. Lopez instead, he's having a great year.

Because Abreu was available for all the games Tabarez played and scored numerous goals. Rodrigo wasn't even called up once, though I agree he's a good player. I wouldn't replace Abreu with him though, Recoba maybe...

I'm seeing a 2-2 here, Uruguay should win this but i think that Peru can give a surprise. Estoyanoff and Forlan to score for the oriental side, Farfan 2x for Peru.

who the **** is Uruguay's LB for this match?

I'm asking this because Fucile is a RB but played most of the season for Porto as our main LB and with quality performances...kind of surprised he's not starting.

Dario Rodriguez is our starting left back, and there's Diogo on the right. I'm fairly certain Fucile will get some play time in this cup, subbing for one or the other.

I don't know. Whenever we call him up he's either injured or recovering from an injury. I've never seen him play for Uruguay at 100%.
