Controller issue

I have installed the patch. I am using Windows XP Home. I have a Logitech Dual Action controller, apparently the preferred controller. In the controller settings page in options, I have keyboard and Microsoft Wireless Optical Mouse, which I do have, but my game controller does not show up. It looks fine in the control panel and plays fine in the game. Any ideas other than the patch isn't working right? Anyone else have this problem?

I have the same controller carter... my problem is that I can't get the dpad to work, only the analog sticks work and it's annoying, how about you?

Same thing. Switched from Gravis Gamepad Pro which used the D-pad and now I have to use the left analog stick to move the players. D-pad seems to be totally non-functional.
