yeah, everything is interconnected, having dependencies, it is quite complex

i was actually playing with compdata folder file, in order to update CL, EL, Conf.L, etc.:

- advancement.txt - i have a suspicion there is a rule for advancement in cups, i.e. qualification rounds, playoff, etc

- initteams.txt - there are actually the assigned teams, list of first 6/8/10 teams from table + cup winners.
However, as per my observation, it seems like this has also a direct linkage to db table leagueteamlinks, where is stored info about previous season standings.
So there you need to also update the database, compdata files are not enough. In DB it is for example the leagueteamlinks table, where i changed fully fields: leagueid prevleagueid previousyeartableposition
But again, some "leagues" which are having only like 2-3 teams for European cups, table position of those should not be changed, otherwise my playoff rounds2, qualification, etc. got messed up.

Well, I see I have a lot of doubters here about the patch being completed. I've done about all of the European leagues and half of the South American ones. But if it makes you laugh, the patch won't be released for you.
When I finish the patch, I will add pictures and videos of me playing FIFA.
Working with tramsfermarkt is difficult because there are player transfers every day. Some people think that creating one league with daily updates of the teams that I have done takes 5 minutes.
I also have a private job and others would like me to patch 24 hours a day and add something new every day. I don't have time for this.
I don't greet clowns.

It's almost January... You're late considering you had to update an already existing patch. We all have a life outside of this forum and that's why we don't make huge plans and work in small steps and small projects at a time. I wrote to you where you were wrong, that your system doesn't help you, on the contrary, it undermines you. You would have made small releases updating a certain number of championships at a time based on importance and now you wouldn't be in this situation. You don't post photos, you don't update on developments. How can we believe that you have made 3/4 of the European championships? There is no evidence. You arrived with a kilometric list of championships and we already had doubts. You show nothing and the doubts, rightly, increase. The January transfer window will open soon and I should review 3/4 of what has already been done (assuming it's true that you've done it). When maybe you could have delegated someone to take care of the market among the people who had downloaded the patch, taking a huge burden off you. You're handling everything badly. You can't be a braggart by threatening not to release or post photos or videos of yourself playing. Do you know why? Because you don't prove anything. Maybe you've done two things and you'll show us those. Maybe you don't realize that right now, if we were in a poker game, it looks like you have a pair of 7s and you're making a double raise making us believe you have a full house or four of aces in your hand. Looks like you're bluffing. Make us think again, show the evidence of 3/4 of Europe. Ovide started a month ago starting from the converted FC24 database. Within a few weeks he could be released. Do you know what he means? That people will start their careers there and this patch will be pretty much dead before it's born.
Maybe this doesn't interest you, just know that at that moment we won't be interested in seeing you playing your patch either... Don't even bother doing it.

I'm only interested in classic shit. The more classic it is, the shittier it is, the more I like it. I just don't like your attitude and how, a project like the patch on the current season, is fundamental for a game from 10 years ago. Indeed it is vital for the forum section. Whoever takes charge of such a patch must be sure of what he does. He has hundreds or thousands of people waiting. It's a question of responsibility. If you take charge of something you must also take responsibility including sweet words and blows in the teeth. For the rest... For me you can do as you like. You make the fool of yourself. But the more you delay, the more the patch must be perfect and without bugs and errors. I think you know this...
