Apparently it's more of a strong rumor than confirmed deal, the fee was apparently a release clause (that makes it even worse).

The idiots at PSG have struck again. Can't defend worth a damn, way too error prone, and loses his boots when he is one-on-one with dribblers. Shrewd move by Chelsea. That should mean that Cahill is now worth 60 mil.

He's definitely better than Alex and arguably (imo also definitely) better than Marquinhos. If Brasil win the WC, PSG will get the world champion defensive duo. What I find incredible is that with the 60M fine plus 50M for Luiz, PSG have already spent €110M and we're not even in July. This is awesome. It'll definitely start a chain reaction because Chelsea already had a lot but not they're 50M richer, and they'll definitely invest.

Better than Alex definitely. But to me, this transfer also says that PSG and Blanc don't have much faith in Marquinhos going forward.
