Calm down, the big problem here is you're stupid. We need a player capable of offering proper width on the right, either a right-winger or a good attacking fullback (assuming Bosingwa doesn't get his form back). And we need either a playmaker, or a creative inside-forward. We're fine it attack pending new information. We could use Lukaku as a long-term replacement for Drogba, and we also have Sturridge who could become a starter soon. Malouda, Anelka and Kalou are good enough for now too.

Don't buy into the Torres crap, there's no guarantees that he'll turn good, but thinking he's gonna fail after half-a-season in a new team, playing a different style, after a bad season physically and psychologically, with his new team playing badly throughout the season ansd with him playing those 14 matches in a stop-start fashion, is far too pessimistic. Form is temporary, class is permanent.

like I thought he would, Zamaparini got one of the sheikhs to submit the top bid, and now that August is upon us, he's ready to sell ... I am surprised, though, that the compromise figure is less than €45mil (reportedly 'only' €42m) ... now, he'll either be able to squeeze out a couple more million from the Chels, or PSG will claim their spoils as the auction winners ... I'm hoping for the latter ...

as a fellow francophone, I too would like to see France (rather than Germany) pushing towards the elite leagues ... Paris is an awesome city, and everyone knows it's the perfect place to centre the French revolution ... le seizième arrondissement ftw!
