Damn...i wanted him for Bayern....seemed to be pretty cheap too....

Would have been an adequate Ribery replacement, but if we hold onto Franck, he wouldn't fit in. Dude isn't a defender.

Oguchi Onyewu (Standard Liege) → AC Milan
Kerlon (Chievo) → Inter
Lucho Gonzalez (Porto) → Marselle

I hope he does well, its hard for Americans to break into the starting lineups and especially at a team like AC. We cant afford to have him sit the bench for the next year.

well bro, we're used to it...every single year it's about the same, since we won the CL in 2004 we have 2 or 3 key players leaving the squad for gigantic fees and we've managed to replace them well enough by developing other players into potential stars.

It's true that we didn't clinch any silverware in Europe meanwhile but let's face it it's difficult as **** considering the economical difference between us and the football sharks which allows them to get who they want from who they want.

Still, last season we lost Quaresma and Bosingwa but became portuguese champions, lifted the portuguese cup and had a very good campaign in the CL.

So it's no reason to panic for us, I believe we're making the right moves and will continue to do so in order to remain competitive in Europe and at the top in Portugal.

porto doing a very good job..they got potential stars cheap and sell them for really big money..and i find porto successful even they sell key players evey season..
