Confirmed Transfers

Oh and tits.
Aleksandar Dragovic to Neverkusen. They already have Toprak, Tah, Jedvaj and others as options.

It was rumoured earlier in the week that we were in Germany. Some random links to Julian Brandt and Chicarito. Hmmm....could Jonathan Tah be headed to Arsenal? I'd love it. He is quality. Want him or Manolas/Koulibaly really bad.

It's a lot but then it's not much more than a third of what the got for Higuain. Still, it's a worrying day when even buying players from Dutch clubs goes into the 30s....

It's a record for Ajax. And that for a player that wasn't even starting at the beginning of last season, who was going to be replaced in the January transfer window and really only played well for like the last few months of the competition, when he played good but not even outstandingly good.

The footballing world has gone officially crazy. I don't mind though. Hope we can reinvest this in some quality talent.

He had a good run in the first half of that season, if I remember correctly. Struggled with injuries and poor form in the second. I wouldn't necessarily say his last season was poor, just nothing really that special. It was his best season for us if you look at his numbers. 21 goals though many of those came against weaker opponents. That + the Euros is probably what triggered Napoli.

Basically everybody here assumed he would stay for at least another season and then maybe make a transfer. Certainly nobody ever expected this type of money for him. If you look at the two guys who previously held the clubrecord (Sneijder and Huntelaar, both to Real for 27m), it was clear they had completely outgrown the Eredivisie at that time and were ready for the next step. Milik isn't nearly as talented as those two (were), I think. I wish him all the best, but I think he's going to struggle in Italy especially against those tough Italian defenses.

I was told his stats are considerably better than Suarez' were just before he left

But Suarez was an obviously serious talent and the Eredivise was better back then. The level atm is absolutely dreadful. Luuk De Jong and other clowns are superstars for their team.

There is still some serious talent like Bazoer,Nuri of Ajax etc but the level is atrocious, mostly.
