Yeah I gotta admit I haven't really seen much of him, maybe 4-5 times during the last season. Against Real and Barça I believe. He is much faster than David Villa, really good on the ball and an excellent finisher. Also he's so young so he will develop into a superstar! Especially under El Cholo Simeone, who seems to get the best out of his players.

Remember when Griezmann wasn't being a starter at the beginning of last season? Simeone said something like "he's now at Atlético, but still plays like La Real player". He developed even more after that and look how good he is for them.

Most likely he'll start on the bench yes and eventually work his way up to the first team like Griezmann did. Perhaps Griezmann will be slotted to the left wing in that scenario should Atlético get Carlos*son as well, although when he has played on the wing for them he hasn't exactly shined.

Idealistically I'd want them to sign Cavani instead of Carlos*son. He just seems like a perfect player for Atléti with his workrate and everything, could use a change of scenery as well. But I don't think that PSG are willing to sell and he'd cost too much I think.

Simeone has said his idea is to play with the same system but moving Koke to the center and playing Oliver Torres on the wing to play an even faster football.

Agreed. And I must say that Gabi seems to be in decline. He's no way in the form he was in when Atléti won La Liga and reached the final of the CL.

Koke playing deeper in the midfield doesn't sound like such a bad idea at all. Also you cannot forget about Saúl, he is a bit similar to Koke being an allrounder etc. Can play on the wing or in the centre of the park. Another quality player.

Anyway Carlos*son Martínez to Atléti seems to be done for 35 million euros. Quality signing for them. Vietto, Carlos*son, Griezmann, Angel Correa and Fernando Torres is a pretty wild bunch of forwards. Really looking forward seeing him play for them.

Is he not this chubby anymore? I'm just slightly curious. There were some rumours going around that Benitez wanted the guy at Real as some sort of a backup keeper as well which made very little sense, while Keylor Navas was supposed to be loaned out in that scenario. Bizarre rumour that one.

To be honest I've never even heard of this player which is quite surprising for me. And don't they already have Neustädter for that role who isn't exactly a bad player either?
