Gladbach snap up Bogelund
PA Sport

Bundesliga side Borussia Monchengladbach have announced the signing of 24-year-old Kasper Bogelund on a three-year contract.

The defender joins from Eredivisie side PSV Eindhoven, but the fee agreed for the right-back has not been disclosed.

"With Kasper Bogelund we have a player to fill a position which has given us problems in the past," said technical director Peter Pander.

"Although he is just 24 years old he has a lot of experience already. Also on the international level."

The transfer to the Bundesliga ends a six-year spell at Eindhoven for Bogeland, who made 78 appearances for the club.

Kluivert-transfer Valencia op losse schroeven

10/6/2005 13:55

Lincoln City -> Arsenal: Compensation

I live in Lincoln and can confirm it hasn't happened yet. Arsenal have yet to agree on the amount of the compensation package.

Thorsten Frings to Werder Bremen for Valeri Ismael? That's the stupidest move anyone's made so far. Why would you sell a possible star like Frings to Bremen for a Ismael who's reached his potential just because Frings had one average season. Bayern don't need midfielders, they need defenders. They can easily afford them. Is it just me or have Bundesliga clubs cut back on their transfers.

Just wanted to say thank you to Guillame for updating us on the French League trades. It seems that the French League is the forgotten league in Europe. They have potential, it's just that the African strikers they sign have no finishing on their shots.

Pederson will soon be out of Blackburn just like Sted. I don't think that they like Blackburn's rough style-not that there's anything wrong with it. Blackburn are going to have a tough time getting strikers unless there's another Paul Dikov around.

-Teddy Sheringham has signed a one year deal with West Ham
-Arsenal want Greek Striker Georgious Samaras from Dutch club Heerenveen
-Southampton have told other teams to get lost and that they're not going to be selling all their players (mainly Crouch)
-Rijkaard says that Barcelona will be quiet in the Transfer market this summer

That's why they sold Frings and bought Ismael.

1. Bayern have too many midfielders.
2. Frings was crap when he played.
3. I agree Ismael has reached his potential and that's good enough to strenghten the team. Him and Lucio are gonna be a nice duo - defensively and offensively.
