Guys, I've had this clarified, FIFA 07 does not in fact include skill moves or tricks, the big focus this year has instead been on a very responsive player control and core animation system which I think you've all seen in the demo. The fully loose ball physics have also meant many more basic animations are required to respond to this which is one reason why it has not been possible to put in more specialised trick animations.

There's also been a strong focus on the way players react to one another, so if you send a wing back on a player run a midfield player will drop back and defend in his place. There are lots of little things like that which go on all over the pitch, that's one of the important details that has been a big focus for FIFA 07 on next-gen.

As the official FIFA 07 forum we always do our utmost to provide accurate information to you, unfortunately this was a rare instance that slipped through the cracks as a result of a miscommunication. Sorry for any disappointment here however we will definitely pass on how much you guys all want to see tricks and skill moves in next-gen FIFA.

Just to recap, FIFA 07 X360 ***DOES NOT*** have Skill Moves.

Hello my fellow gamers. Now a lot of you here are complaining (well over at the official EA forums) that 360 FIFA sucks because there are no skills...WRONG! There are no 'easy executable' skills, but there are skills.

I am 100% positive there are MORE tricks in the demo.

no he didnt because there ARE SKILL MOVES and im sure their on the X360 to its just no like last year where you move stick once you have to move it a few times in different directions!!!

Punk Sk8r, from the videos I've seen, I believe that there are NO SKILL MOVE WHAT SO EVER. Stop dreaming! These reactions are based on the new physics system, meaning that if the ball rolls little bit far from a player, based on his attributes he will move his leg to the ball giving us the impression of doing what we use to know in current-gen "Skill Moves".

This step from EA is bad but promising; bad because many of use loved the fact that some players did some special moves, but the good part is that now the game seem to be more realistic than ever before, it's like if every move is different than the other, it is what they were talking about at the EA videos: "Kinetic Movements".

Interesting stuff. So again, NO SKILLS OR MOVES IN FIFA 07. NO NO NO. they all look just like regular moves produced by the new physics engine, not animations.

how can you say that youve seen videos and miveis ive go the game ive done skills so dont know how you can prove me wrong and the player sticking his leg out part its not a eye mistake because them i wouldnt be doing flip flap thingy with Ronaldiniho i have the recording of it to so you cant really say no skills!!!

And at the end of the day, does it really freaking matter?

I mean who really cares if you can't do a rainbow or a 360? How many REAL games do you actually see those moves used in? I think if you're over 12 years old, you'd care about more absolute freedom on the ball and unlimited possibilities with the games physics rather than using FIFA street moves to beat players.

the skills are timing based and the animation gets put in context... what they mean by no tricks.. is that there are no right stick tricks like in current gen

but they should add skills like in pes of current gen fifa07 where you can side step with RB + direction of do the trick where you go over the ball with your leg a few times by tapping RB. Dont know how you call that in english.
These are basic tricks and makes the game much more fun in multiplayer and fooling or disgracing the other player.
