Getting tickets to see Beatsteaks tomorrow. Great band, brilliant live performances too.
The Rheinkultur festival was really good too, the only thing that was annoying was that crowdsurfing was banned and people were too stupid to start a circle pit :nape: But the walls of death were really good, I was in about 15 of them :p

Yeah, and last time they put on one hell of a show.
The crowd is usually quite good too. I remember reading that at one of their concerts the crowd managed to push over one of those crowdbarriers(can't remember the proper term for them at the moment...).

i love concerts. some i have been 2 in the last year-the strokes, the killers, white stripes, the roots, live aid, stephen marley, phil lesh...so far this summer i have tickets 4 pete yorn and farm aid

just came back from the Rolling Stones in Bucharest, ******* awesome!! The Charlatans played in the opening, made a good impression since it's their first time in Romania, but the Stones were amazing, jumping around and all that, made the crowd go crazy, about 70.000 people. plus near the end all 4 of them started singing on a platform which was slowly moving to the opposite side of the stadium, above the crowd.

also, Mick Jagger learnt a ****load of romanian, said about 10 sentences like 'I'm feeling great', 'Are you having fun?', and all that. and when he started introducing his back-up band or whatever its called, and presented a female member of it (can't remember her name), he said "great dress, cheap shoes though" on a perfect romanian. :funny:

Bought my Beatsteaks ticket today. But I have to wait till November till I see 'em. I'm also probably gonna go to Taste of Chaos festival which I missed last year. It's a small one day event with five bands. Rise Against, The Used, Escape The Fate, Gallows and Aiden are playing.
