Hey guys, I know I started this forum. I haven't had much time lately to do anything. I moved to the USA and started working. I don't even have internet where I live so it is hard to be involved. Hopefully for fifa 10 I can do more.

As for some of you that have done a Gold Cup patch, congrats. Keep it up so that people can have fun with soccer/football in our region.

I will try to get my patches reloaded when I have time. I don't know what happened with filefront, they deleted everything I had there.

I was able to download and to install the update. It was a good effort on your part Imfoust!!! :bob: Thank you for doing that since I haven't had time to do anything lately. Keep it up.

Slight question: Does anyone play Manager Mode with any of the USL teams? Everytime i try to play as one, I get a CTD. Friendly games are fine with them.

Just curious.

CTD? Is that what the kids call the blue screen of death? When in manager mode does this happen? I've started a few seasons to test things out before and never had issues.

Sorry ImFoust. I messed up some things in CM09. Started from scratch and added USL 1 and 2 using CM. All worked well.

Nah, CTD was just a crash to desktop. I had 2 conflicting leagues that weren't agreeing with each other. Thanks for the USL updates BTW. Everything looks great! What do you use for your USL adboards? Do you know of any generic adboards that wouldn't look TOO out of place in USL games?

Also, I'm trying to figure how to add the USL teams into the Lamar Hunt US Open Cup (and adding Seattle into the mix). I'm going to go by this and see what I can fix up. It might not be perfect or exact but I will use all of the teams from MLS, USL1 and USL2.

for personal use, the 08 forum had some USL club specific adboards for the 08 season, but not for all of them. I would make some myself, but the 2 sets I made aren't that great. I've tried many different formats for the US Open Cup, but it doesn't seem to work right. I'm contemplating turning the US Cup to a NA (north american) cup.

I've been in the process of creating an American Premiership that includes some clubs from the PDL, PCSL & NPSL. I'm contemplating buying 10 when it comes out and converting it to that game as well as keeping the 09 set-up.

Btw, you were able to get a fresh install? For some reason, even after I look into my registry, I have the same db files I thought I got rid of. Oh, well.

Sorry for the late reply, it's been a while since I've been on.

I have been doing all of my work via Virtual Machine on my Vista x64 box. I have FIFA 09 and CM09 installed on the VM, do any db fixed on the VM, copy the data file into a common folder so that I can access it in Vista and copy it into my Vista version of FIFA09... It's a slight pain, but it's not too bad.

I didn't have a clean install of FIFA 09. I tried to put in the J-League into FIFA and it didn't mesh well with the USL leagues (I probably did someting wrong though..). I deleted the J-League and Tournaments and haven't had any problems since. Still need to get rid of the individual J-League teams though.

I have figured out a tournament using USL2, USL1 and MLS teams. I called it the Intercontinental Americas Cup. It has 7 stages and starts in June and ends just after MLS Cup in November. Still trying to figure out how to make the Tourney appear as a Board Expectation. Any help with that would be appreciated!
