I hope you don't want to make each world cup's teams, liio. you'll get a heart attack if you don't take a break! you don't want us to be worried, do you? :)

I think it would be nice to pick one world cup, like 1962 or something like that, and make it's teams. maybe even some more, with qualifying rounds! with national teams like upper volta, zaire, ussr, etc. ...maybe i shouldn't have suggested this... this could lead to even more work for you...

I want to start by making the finals for each tournament... 13 teams for 1930, 15 for 34' 16 or so for '38, 16 for '50. Then i can go back later and add qualification as those tournaments will get increasinly larger every cycle.

What kind of forum are we that a Mexican and American can work on the same project together Walrus? And, yeah, we got your number. But between your and me, If we meet in the Gold Cup or Copa America you'll win every time. Mexico is just a better team and we can take ya and will always give ya a game... But our current form in my oppinion isn't going to last

Hate to be so critical of the americans but the game does require you have a striker who knows what a goal is. Jimmy Conrad, Jonathan Bornstein and our other defenders can't score all our goals. Course if Landon can stay in form run at players and take risky shots... well, we'll be fine.

Anyway, I luv your work Walrus and good luck in the Gold Cup.

He he. Good luck you too. I think our biggest problem is that Mexican Federation is a complete mess (Carmona's gate by example) at least MLS seems to be well organized and so your national teams are. We may have talent but we don't seem to know how to take advantage of it, also I don't know what happens when Mexico plays against US, they can go to ET against Argentina in World Cup but they can score in Columbus (with a lot of Mexican crowd).

Also I don't think Borgetti is the same as 4 years ago so we lack of goal. Carlitos Vela (UD Salamanca) should be in the roster.

Believe me man, you're not the only one who thinks your NT could improve :funny:

I still think Mexico will be the first North American team to win the World Cup.

I think Africa will come next though.

I didn't know about the organizational issues with the Mexican FA but I guess it isn't surprising (no offense).

Mexico will win the world cup in 2026 when they will host it. Please remember me and my prediction skills in july 2026.

I Highly doubt Mexico will host any more world cups. The infastructure isn't there and the nation would have a difficult time getting to those standards especially as they escalade over the next few decades. I think it's highly likely that America (if our political situation calms down and less people want to bomb us) or Canada is most likely to host if the north american continent get's another shot.

It's also possible that one of the very high tourist areas in the caribbean may have the money and size, thus capability of hosting.

Anyway, Mexico will still be the first to win the World Cup. I would love to see the Americans in the semi's at least before I die.

Yeah! Dominican Republic hosts the World cup. Or Bahamas. I want to see THAT before I die!
