Well, I ended up watching the whole game. All I can say is with a healthy Colt McCoy, Texas would have won this game.
Alabama's vaunted rush offense??? Held to nothing in the 2nd half......nothing.....while Texas was coming back.
Now, ignore the last TD of the game.....late in the 1st half, Gilbert threw an INT. Late in the 2nd half, he lost a fumble. Both resulted in Alabama TDs. If Colt was in, neither would have happened....nor the last TD. Take 20 points off the board and Texas would have been leading heading into that drive starting with around 3 minutes to go in the 4th Q....from deep in their own end. Now, if they were leading, there is no way Mack Brown would have been throwing the ball....they would have run a few more plays, running, played some defense...remember if would have been a 4 point game and Alabama would have taken over(assuming Texas punted) at around their own 40, needing a TD with around 2:30 to go. Their game wining drives against Auburn and Florida took longer than that. Texas would have held them off and won the game.

I was not impressed with Alabama.
